BSN NO Explode side effects
So I recently decided to try NO Explode to boost my workouts after reading so many +ve things about it on the web. On the day I got it I did the tolerance tests - took one scoop, waited half hour and took another one. The only thing I couldn't tolerate was the awfull taste of the blue rasberry flavour. Didn't notice any physical change whatsoever apart from feeling quite down that evening but that could be due to other things.
Anyway, the next day was my leg day, so I took 2 scoops as directed 45 mins before my training session. The result was a seriously upset stomach plus diarrhea right in the middle of my workout. It took three days for my stomach to get back to its normal state and I'm sure it wasn't caused by food as my diet is pretty much stable.
I didn't get the pump or anything really except a rather small boost in energy but it's no more than when I have my pre-workout black Rocket Fuel coffee. Now, I'm not here to trash the supplement, I know alot of them simply don't work, but so many people here praise no products including no explode. Has anyone experienced anything similar when taking no explode or other no supps? I'm planning to send the supp back or throw it out.

I had minor stomach discomfort my first 2 or 3 days taking NO-Explode but that I had an outstanding run of high energy workouts. Just had to get over that initial hump.

I usually had to take a pre-workout dump when using it.
Also, I hated Blue Raspberry, I liked the Fruit Punch or whatever it was though. But the Blue Raspberry was terrible in my opinion.

NO-XPLODE does nothing for me except a slight increase in focus and energy, like I drank coffee. No pump or vascularity increase. I stopped using it and went on White Flood, great decision. You won't regret going on White Flood or Animal Pump-- they actually work

I may give it another shot but the way my stomach reacted it seems doubtful... I am really surprised by this, I've had my share of bad supps but never as bad as this

I actually had an empty stomach really when I tried it. But yeah, the blue raspberry flavour is just horrible.

The only reason why I went for NO explode and not for white flood is because of the price difference. I may try WF or AP in the future until then I'll just stick with Rocket Fuel coffee I guess

WF is cheaper than the NO-XPLODE at the moment.

I have been taking it for two weeks and I really haven't felt anything other than a pyschological boost the first couple of times. I was reading an article, well an advertisement, that compared it to the effects of Viagra. If you take it all the time the body adjusts to it and it no longer works. I have been taking it everytime before I lift. I did notice it raised my blood pressure to the point that I had to go to the doctor to get checked out and he told me to stop using it, though I didn't. I even bought Nitrix but didn't use it but a couple of times, just couldn't feel it. I am going to try SuperPump250, got some advise from an online buddy here so I figure what the hell.

I had a slight headache, apart from that nothing much, I did "feel" the pump so to say initial days but thats worn off totally now, switching to Animal.
Also not too sure if it was all psychological - just in my head u know.

if ur stomache is getting upset you might be sensitive to stimulants. i ve been using no xplode on and off for about a 1.5 yr. no probs with it. 2 scoops before my workout works best for me.

BS nutrition
Been using NO explode for my last 5 week cycle. Not any different than anything elso out there with caffeine in it..IMO And for pumps, it was hard to say if it was the Geman Volume Training or the extra "boost" from BS nutrition. If I was to bet on it I would say it was the ten sets of ten that gave me the pump.
As far as side effects, a good strong cup of coffee will give you a quick reason to hit the head in the morning just the same.
Think I''ll stick with Zip Fizz from Costco from now on. Cheaper. B vits, caffeine, and taurine to help all of it along....
just my 2 bits........

Just use one scoop for a week and see what happens. At one point I was up to three scoops and it started upsetting my stomach, so I backed off. One scoop works nicely.
I think the whole "tolerance testing" scheme is flawed. They should advise that you take one scoop for a few days, then two a few more, then if you can, three. If you can maintain three after a few days without an upset stomach, then you have determined your tolerance. I don't think you can reliably determine that in one or two days.

Tried one scoop before a workout yesterday, didn't get the stomach upsets, although I still don't get the desired effect. I may give it another go and see what happens.
Thanks for your feedback guys, repped

I was the same way when I first started using no-xplode it made my stomach upset and made me feel like I was going to puke so much so that I started working out at night just because I didnt want to go around feeling ****ty for the whole day. I worked through it and kept taking and by the end of the bottle I really didn't feel any effects when i worked out. From my experience the only time I experienced any of the effects is when it made me feel like **** and by the time I got used to it the effects were small to none.

Known side effects from NO products:
Stomach upset
Gas
"Jittery" feeling
Headache
Dizziness
Empty Wallet Syndrome
Disillusionment with the supplement industry because they told you it would make you look like Ronnie and it really just made you feel like ****.

The upset Stomach and diarrhea should stop once you're body adjusts to the product after a few days or so. If not, then you should probably just lower the dosage. I had a similar problem, but it was with Gaspari's superpump 250, and both stopped after a week or so + slightly lowering the dosage. I have used N.O. Xplode quite a bit and haven't had that problem thankfully. Really the main benefits from N.O. Xplode is the energy/focus/ pump. If you're still not getting those benefits as best you'd like after a couple of weeks on the product, there are much better creatine products out there than N.O Xplode.

No-Xplode
I used No-Xplode for a while. Watch the tolerance. I took 3 scoops and coulden't handle that much. I puked in the middle of workingout (made it to the locker room toilet). Pumps were killer for me though. Really liked that. Grape is nasty though. I read that the blue raspberry was bad too. Does anyone have and suggestions on flavor? Orange, Fruit Punch, Lemon Lime, or Lemonade?

I've tried them all.
Orange is by far my favorite, followed by lemonade.
The lemon lime was ok, but kind of weird tasting.
The blue raspberry does kinda suck, but the Fruit Punch is AWFUL.

NO Products
I work in a supplement shop and I've tried several products in the pre-workouy category (Nano Vapor/NO Xplode/Fast Twitch/Superpump 250) I noticed similar results with all of them, when first using I did get cramping and diariah during training but I found that went away after a couple of days, If your lean and vascular I find the veins are a bit more noticeable during training but that wears off later in the day, my opinion pre-workouts work fine not something I try to use everyday just on days I'm not feeling motivated.

I started taking it last week. I started with 1 scoop, then 2 scoops and I'm currently on 3 scoops a day. I'm thinking about increasing to 4 scoops. I only get a slight energy boost. I often get a bit dizzy in between sets after a hard pump. After my workout I feel worn out and kind of depressed. However I've talked to people in my gym that all say that it's really good.

All NO products don't give you a "jitery" feeling. NO doesn't make you jittery at all actually. It is the stims put in conjunction with the L-arganine (which is the precursor that makes your body create NO). If NO Xplode was the first NO product he ever tried then it is possible that he has an intolerance to ingested L-arganine (which many do). Along with that as much as I enjoyed your ronnie coleman comment being I am a known basher of BSN, do not lump all NO products together. NO has many functions in the body that can benefit human beings general health along with that of a bodybuilder. I am not saying you do, but many people have this misconception that NO is useless. I have seen those posts way too often. While the use of NO is not manditory by any means it certainly is NOT useless. Back to the OP, if NO Xplode was your first NO product it is possible you are having a reaction to the L-arganine. To test this I would buy another NO product such as White Flood and see if it makes a difference. If you experience the same problem I would cease the use of NO products unless you feel the benefit from them outweigh the diahrea you are experiencing.

Great decision, why is it so many people on this site disregard their health in substitution for gains...it's all about health in the end.

I've never taken White Flood but I've heard it gives you a mega pump. I'm switching to it when I've finished my NO Xplode.

I've been using No Explode for 8 months now. The first 3 to 4 weeks I did experience an energy rush but yes your body does get used to any energizing drink or supplement after a while of use. The one thing I can say that stays incredible about this product is the pump. Everyone wants something that energizes you before a workout that everyone forgets what actually happens whilst No Explode starts working. I have awesome experiences with biceps. They get so pumped that it feels like they are going to pop out!!! I did triceps and shoulders the other day and one of the floor instructors (a guy that I've known for about a year at the gym) came up to me and said wow!!! your shoulders are looking great. Yeah I must admit that it does make the body part you are exercising look bigger cause of the pump but that tells me that it does work. I also experience that when I get to the middle part of my workout, usually that's the part where you want to go home now, I just want to keep going
I never had problems with an upset stomach but It does make me nausious if I take 3 scoops. 2 Is ideal I think
So guys stop worrying about the energizing part of the NO products cause the part that you will experience if you concentrate on that is the good stuff!!!!
