Andvaranaut's 5x5 Journal!
For the next 9 weeks I'll be doing the 5x5 Program, I've read a lot about it, and I figured I'd give it a shot. Making a journal should be a good way to keep me occupied and on top of things, not to mention a good measure of my improvements.
Constructive criticism is always good! I won't take it the wrong way and be a prick..
Start
Height - 6'0"
Weight - 182 lbs.
Goals
Height - 6'0"
Weight - 190 lbs. (hopefully more)
Supplements
Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey Protein
Green Bulge (Hopefully it's coming soon...)
Flax/Fish Oil Gel
Multi-vitamin
Workout #1 - Monday, January 9, 2006
Squats
265x5
265x5
265x5
265x5
265x5
I've got to work on my form. I put a bench behind me to make sure I was going all the way parallel, which I guess worked well. I think I might stay at the same weight for Friday's workout to ensure I'm going completely parallel.
Bench Press
225x5
225x5
225x5
225x5
225x5
These weren't so bad, though I was interrupted after my 3rd set which was a nuisance.
Pendlay Rows
95x5
95x5
95x5
95x5
95x5
I had never done these before, got to start somewhere I guess. I kind of feel my glutes working a little bit, I'd assume I just need to keep my butt down. Definitely need to kick up the weight next time, I barely felt any burn.
More to come...

I'm going to start tallying up the amount of Calories I eat tomorrow, my Whey hasn't arrived in the mail yet, so once I get that my Caloric intake will go up more.
I ate 3700 Calories today, which is in no way enough for a bulk.
Looking forward to tomorrow's workout.
