I started this thread for feedback on some progress pix:

Post #12 suggests going lighter with more reps. I'm not sure I see the reason to do this, as it is I do 12 reps just about every set (which is the high end of the rep range if you ask me). And why go lighter, am I getting bulky or something?
I could PM the poster but I'm curious if others can see the reason for the comment. Honest input appreciated.

meh, ignore him........... typical male ................ the heavier lifts work much more effectively.
My personal opinion for what THATS worth is "toning" is over-rated. Muscle development that is small is "tone", muscle development that is visable is its own reward. If you feel you are getting too big, just back off your weights to maintain yourself.
Women should train the same as men, the only difference is in most cases we don't have the same natural potential for growth due to body and hormonal restrictions.
That said your progress is coming along nicely.
You will never be sorry you took those first photos. And measurements of both sides of your body are certainly the best way to track your progress. They can be a lifeline when you reach a plateau that fells like it just won't break.
Keep up the good work!Everything Changes

Not sure why he suggested it as he doesn't expand on his comment.... but he's a generally nice chap who usually posts in the O35s and I don't remember him being either patronising to women or suggesting fluffy pink DBs with super high reps... which as you know some lads do...
Maybe he misunderstood what you were actually looking for....Getting there slowly.... and slowlier
OK... so all my stats are rubbish at the moment...
DL - 220lbs.... finally... still aiming for 330....
