When I bulk I never necessarily do it cleanly. Honestly just use some protein powder (with milk) and add some ice cream, maybe a snickers bar, and anything else with calories. That's what I did and it was awesome, but also I have a stocky build so that might of contributed to it.
There was a certain product that i used to it was 2 scoops I think, 50grams of protein and 500 calories, tasted like sh*t but worked pretty well, once I find the tub i'll let you know.

If you have the money, get a decent weight gainer... I jsut came off of IDS Smart Gain which I found very good (i need to save money before i can get it again lol)
Look out for no. of calories and amount of protein. also look out for no. of scoops per serving, some are like 5+ some are 2 for the same amount of cals/protein
The other option is the homemade weight gainer...
For this you will need to invest in the purchase of a blender....
as said above, you can chuck anything in there...
Personally I go for:
Milk, Protein Powder, PB, Honey, Oats, Seeds, Banana, (Ocasionly Vanilla Extract ^^)Rep Back, I Do.
