Make sure you properly break-in the engine before you start really beating on it. You have to allow proper wear patterns to form.

Also, as soon as your break-in period is done with, I'd switch to all synthetic fluids if it doesn't have them already.
Royal Purple is the best, but Redline, Lucas, and Mobile 1 all make great stuff.

Its a popular rally car , competitor of the Mitsubishi Evo. I chose it because I live in CT (where it snows), its all wheel drive, and its fast. I also had a regular wrx before this.

One guy at work has an Audi all wheel drive that's lowered, with 18's and low profile tires, and one day after it snowed, he drove up into a parking spot and high-centered the damn thing on the packed snow. All 4 wheels were spinning like mad and not touching anything. It was hilarious.

LMAO... my all season tires go on tommorrow. The stock Potenza's (Summer Tires) are horrible in the snow. I got stuck in my driveway earlier this week.

I often wonder what glasspacks would sound like on a little 4 or 6 banger. They sure sounded awesome on my Impala and Caprice.

I'm going to be the first to say..I'd much rather have a 4g63 powered car (EVOLUTION) than a Subie, but at LEAST you got a STi and not a WRX (something everyone and their dog has around here).
I have a DSM (95 Eagle Talon TSi AWD) and I swear these 4g63 engines can take a beating...I would love to have a evo.
Good luck with warranty work too.
