My gains (After 1 year)
Have been in Competitive Cycling and Running for years and have lifted also but couldnt make much gain due to all the cardio. I retired from Endurance Sports last Fall and started lifiting more seriously. Am VERY pleased with my results in less than a year! I am posting my before and after pic. Thanks to all who have inspired me. I hope to enter a competition in my age group next year if I can keep this up. My gains have slowed now after a year of quick gains but am always looking for ways to shock my muscles into growing. Always listening to what other have to say. Still have a ways to go but am used to dedication from other sports so I know I can do it! Any comments or suggestions are appreciated but please dont be too harsh! LOL.

Iron girl go on wit your bad self!! Just because we're girls its like we can't have muscle....most guys on this board have to be more buff then they're women, I think thats the problem. But either way not trying to bash, so save the comments, just saying you look good Iron. That had to be hella hard work. Keep on keepin on.

This is for Irongirl25
Even though people are intitled to their opinion...and in this case it is the 'male/female' thing. I think you have done an incredible job in four months. I know what it is like to diet and train for competition....you are applauded by me.
There are people who do not see/understand the beauty of a female bodybuilder....to that I say to each their own.
But I think you look incredible.
Much hard work has paid off.
Keep up the great work.

I am now 145 and about 19% bodyfat. One last time GUYS...I was 114 pounds for 2 DAYS! Now please get off my back....
I think I accomplished something many dream of. I know BB shows aren't healthy, but it was a goal and I did it. Give me some credit here people!

You guys are retarded telling Le-ann that. Just because a woman has a little bit of muscle your egos are crushed. Bah, you suck.

I need some more Nectar and I'm broke,I'm proof that genetics don't have to hold you back and anything is possible.
Dieting is not the answer, that’s just a short-term fix. To make a lifelong transformation you need a sustainable lifestyle. One that allows you to both eat what you love and lose weight.
Create your own custom plan, one that is not too restrictive because you have to enjoy it. Otherwise pain and motivation fall quickly when we are miserable.

How often and for how long did you train and how much cardio vs weights did you do?
I really appreciate it!
Thanks,
Ed

I play Russian Roulette everyday, a man's sport; with a bullet called life.
I was given a perfectly healthy body, I might as well make the best of it.
