I just thought he deserved it....so amazing. Unlike vick, he can actually pass. And he's a great passer too. How do you stop him?

Troy Smith is good, but Vince Young is on a diffrent level. I always knew he could like a gazelle, but whats impressive is that he can actually pass. He looked great in the pocket, and he is so accurate. How do you stop him??????

Mike Vick will never be a QB. Will never learn to pass.

Not sure if he can be stopped!!
But hey man did you watch the Fiesta Bowl? Smith passed AND ran all over ND just like Young did to USC today. I know Troy is coming back to OSU for another year but is Young gonna stick around for one more or does he have NFL plans for next season?? They're both NFL bound sometime, no doubt about that.

That was one of the greatest indiviual performances i've ever seen. There is really not much else to say. He took over that game like Jordan used to take over basketball games.

He can't run like that in the NFL, he'll get rocked. A great player, nonetheless.

Young is def. one hell of a player. Texas wouldnt have had a chance without him.

Yea, he killed ND! But there have been plenty of Troy Smith during college, he's a great player don't get me wrong. Smith couldnt be a QB in the NFL, but he'll probally switch to reciver ala randle el.

As stated above, Vince Young is the Mike Vick that is SUPPOSED to be a QB talent. This is what Mike Vick would be like if he really was supposed to be a QB.
Vince Young, I smell a first pick.

Vince Young I think set the total yards record, anyway... he will not be going to the draft. He is very disappointed of not winning the heisman, and is coming back for another year. I see him dominating the heisman next year, and cant really think of anyone to compete with him.

As far as VY getting crushed in the NFL when trying to run like that, this may be true, but he stated during the victory ceremony after the game that he'd be back to Texas for another year. So he'll be even better before he gets to the NFL. Should be amazing to watch.

He didn't say exactly he would be back. he more or less avoided the question. But nonetheless, Sean May said he was 100% coming back to school after UNC won the national title, but he went pro. The realization that Vince Young could have $10 million or more in his pockets next April has a real good chance of changing his mind.

i think this is the best hes going to get in college, i mean hes ****ing amazing now. hes just going to rape defenses next year too. hes ready for the nfl, hes like a bigger, stronger, mike vick who can pass. he also just broke mike vicks record for combined yards in a championship game, he shattered it. vick had 360 something yards and young had like 467 or something.
also i love that fake pass thing he does and then keeps running, he fools everyone.

Yea but most players say that when they are asked taht question after winning the national championship. Thing is, when the agents start a-calling, and millions are waved at your face.. things change. Money has a way of changing things.
ANYWAYS
THAT GAME WAS WHY FOOTBALL IS #1

That is why College Ball beats the NFL. I love college ball. As much I like the cowboys, it does not beat NCAA.

I love that fake pass he does also! What is amazing he's that hes strong. 6'5 235 and can run like a gazelle! His NFL draft stock is higher then ever. Although if he stays 1 more year, he'll deff be the first pick. I think bush has got it locked.

Houston taking Reggie Bush would be the biggest mistake they could make. Mind you he is one hell of a running back however, They already have Dominick Davis.
Houston has no Offensive line whatsoever and taking reggie bush would be a wasted pick, The wise course of action would be to use their pick to take that Offensive Tackle coming out of some virginia university. I cant remember his name but He is rated as the best O- lineman in the country.
Dominick Davis is already an exelent RB but he just doesnt have an O-Line to work with give him an O-Line and he will run all over anyone. Same with David Carr, give him an O-Line and he would be a Pro Bowl QB. Hell he has already set the Record for being sacked the most and this was only his 3rd year.
Houston would also be wise to take Mike Martz whom the Rams Foolishly fired. Martz is an exellent coach and is arguably the best Offensive minded Coach in the NFL, Face it, look at what he did with the Rams. The guy is an Offensive Genius, he would easily fix the Texans and their Offensive line Problems.
Mike Martz+ Houston Texans= Superbowl winning Team

Underage Thinking
While watching that game I felt like I was playing madden against some online punk that kept running Vick against me and I couldn't stop it. I play traditional smart football, run, pound the TE and pass, and I get obliterated by this NEW school type of football. WHAT CAN YOU DO??
Vince Young is doing to college football what Tiger did to golf. Welcome to the future.

Vince Young won't make it too long on his feet the way he has been. He is a dangerous weapon with his running game and served his purpose well this season, but a quarterback is too valuable to be running the way he does, if he keeps it up he will be injured, and entering the nfl after he graduates should be a wakeup call, he hasn't been clocked by a 230 pound linebacker with years of nfl hitting experience.
