    How hard is biochemistry

How hard is biochemistry if you suck at chem? I need it for my program, so im going to have to drop chem 2 and take this instead then chem 2 (with professors approval). How hard would it be for those that have taken it? (from the reviews I have read, he is the easiest biochem teacher in the campus though).

My 3rd year biochem was at 8 in the morning. All in all, I attended about 5 classes total, the first, the one before each quiz, the one before the end of the break and the one before the final.

Easy A, and most of my grades were crappy.

I disagree, no "real" chemistry involved, just memorizing energy cycles and protein names

It's a lot like cell bio, if you've taken that. There's also some stuff that builds up on organic chem, but not a crazy amount. It really varies from prof to prof.

Maybe in the introductory sequences, yes, but not in the more advanced stuff. And if you aren't good at chemistry for whatever reason, I don't think biochemistry is exactly a better option. Probably varies a lot among professors, too.
