I can't believe,...I sort of "did it"
Got my eval today - 8 months of training
Stared about 95lb health problem having, no menstruating, obsessive, anorexic, cardio bunny...
My last eval was Nov - bulked to 106.8, scale BF 23.5%, caliper 16%. Decided to "buckle down" a bit more...
My trainer's taken to calling me "an animal" and making me stop mid set to look at myself in the mirror.
Today - 104.6 lb, 21.5% scale, 15% caliper. Wow, in hs I was the girl who failed gym, tripped up steps, and was taught to be an academic snob and believe athletic scholarships were for block heads stealing funds from "smart girls like us." Wow. ...well, always a nerdy klutz, I still trip up steps.

LOL I hear you sister! You are an ATHLETE NOW!!!! MORE MUSCLES PLEASE!
And btw, I STILL trip up steps, bump into things, etc, but my excuse is that my mind is so finely tuned that it's one step ahead of my body, so accidents happen when it's trying to keep up

You've got to get up every morning with determination, if you're going to go to bed with satisfaction

Great job! I read some of your older posts a few months back and it really sounds like you've found your way and made improvements both physically and mentally. Keep up the good work

I LOVE that! I'm going to have to start using that excuse too
I'm awfully clumsy, even in the gym - just this morning I got a strand of hair stuck in the pad of the standing calf raise machine I also have a habit of bruising my shins on things like leg press machines because I'm not watching where I'm walking. Plus I am absolutely not graceful so when I go down, I go DOWN, lol. I'm glad I'm not the only klutz!

Isn't it weird how modern society tries to get us to separate mind/body/spirit, like we can't be whole integrated people but should instead choose to develop only parts of ourselves?
Congrats on your progress--it's awesome!

oh that's so great to hear girl! You must feel fabulous about yourself I find it really motivating to hear other people are reaching goals.
I have complete control over my body. What I eat and what I do reflect that. Nobody can stop my progress. I will continue my progress until my goals are met. Then from there I will need to achieve new goals to keep the forward progression of my mind, body, and soul. I motivate myself every day to work out, eat healthy, and live my life to the fullest.
