We met when I was 14. We were friends until I was 17, married at 19, still happy and going strong at 26. He's 2 years older than I am.

one of my friends at work married hers last summer
she went out with him for 10 yrs and then he moved away...she got another for 3 but she was miserable....he came back so she dumped her lowsy bf and maried her hs sweet heart....the guy is tatooed and a biker...but every night come up there ...

We met my first semester of college, started hanging out the beginning of second semester, and that was six years ago. We actually became a couple in the summer time, so it's been a little over 5 1/2 years.
Just a tiny college though, and we met through a mutual friend. It wasn't like meeting someone at school how a lot of people do.
The guy I was most serious with in High School ended up being about as far from what I need in a significant other as one can get and I'm approximately five worlds away from where I was then.

dated my EX for 6 years. 15-21. Thought she was the one.
HS sweetheart thing RARELY works out. But to those who have, big grats for being able to stick through it.
A question for those it worked with, were you ever long distance? Im going to guess probably not.

I got a set of friends who have been dating since they were in 7th grade. Still dating.
Broke up when the guy moved to another school for half a year, then he moved back and got back with her.
So... yea. Like 7 years they got behind them...
