How many reps should I do for strength building? I do around 5 reps and I 'm not getting any stronger I'm just getting bigger. I dont need to bulk i just want to get stronger.

usually size comes w/ strength... however 6-8 reps is usually good...but if thats not working for you try higher reps...it might work better for you, you have to work your fast and slow twitch muscle fibers... have you just recently stopped gaining stength or its always been a problem?

MAYBE TRY DIFFERENT EXERCISES OR TYPES OF SETS FOR A WHILE THEN GO BACK AND SEE IF IT CHANGES...IF NOT THAT...MAYBE YOUR PUSHING THE WEIGHT TOO MUCH...DO YOU HAVE GOOD FORM BECAUSE I NOTICED WHEN I WAS DOING SKULLCRUSHERS WHEN I FIRST STARTED-->I HAD BAD FORM WITH A LOT OF WEIGHT AND WOUND UP STAYING AT THAT WEIGHT FOR A WHILEEE..UNTIL I LOWERED THE WEIGHT GOT GOOD FORM AND WORKED MY WAY HIGHER....

SHRED EM!
Mix it up a lot, do different excersises at lower weights, constantley change your routine to shock your muscles. Just dont over do it, allow enough time for recuperation, i do one body part a week, and i move up pretty steady, but you are going to plateau every once in awhile, that s when you should switch. When you switch your excersizes you wont be able to lift as much usually, but it will shock your mucsles and that will ultimatley make you bigger and stronger. For what it's worth, it works for me.
