 the best self spotter product ive ever bought 4 real
I am new to the forum and I see so many people who cant train to their full potential because of safety reasons and so forth so I signed up just to let everyone in on my secret... Its at www.shermworks.com and its called the free-spotter. Its a little expensive but well worth it if ya work out alone. Hope this helps

No he won't ship it says on his page he won't ship the rack outside u.s

i think he means the rack that is used to mount the ropes on but to get the device and the ropes he will ship that.. I just mounted the ropes to my ceiling joices with a big eyebolt screwed into them. the first nite I had it I put 300 pds on my bar and left it all nite. Worked fine for me. I am pretty sure you can email him and buy the free-spotter without the rack. and to answer rob. Its kinda like the lawn mower safty lever is the best way I can decribe it. Hope that helps.

well pretty boy I didn't post this to get into some pissin contest with someone who does not even own this product... I've used it for 8 mo. now and think its a good product if you are tired of relying on someone else and want to work out solo. we all know what opinions are like don't we.

Looks interesting. My only worry would be getting my hands to unclench. Sometimes when I am lifting heavy and really gripping the bar for all I am worth I have to forcibly unclench my hands. It looks like a good alternative for people that have to work out by themselves and would give a better range of motion than a smith machine.
It is better to have a gun and not need it rather than need a gun and not have it.

you can also you it on a power rack i have one works good ecept if using with rack you can buy with it you can still get stuck uner bar doing bench press so a powe rack would work great no need to have a lift off and extr safety of pins so you do not get pined under weight.

Sherm here. All I can say is that, in the seven years since the Maximus877 prediction, no one has died while using the Free-Spotter.
However all Free-Spotter users will eventually die, as will anyone who has eaten anchovy pizza, or watched American Idol, or.......
