I am 6'3''
I've been working out for 3 months now. I used to be lighter, but I injured my knee and put on some weight. I'm trying to get to my goal weight, which I will tell you after all have guessed.
Btw,
I can bench:
225 x5
incline dumbell 75 x 8 reps, 4 sets
I can't squat much because of my knee, but I can leg press 6 plates.
This isn't a joke, I'm just looking for honest impressions
Hopefully will be shredded someday.

BB - Tell me about it
My frame is how I've been hiding my weight. Most ppl can't guess my weight accurately.
First pick is when I weighed 270, 5 years ago.
Second pick is when I weighed 235 2 or so years ago...links above is today
GAWD it's sick!
But I've been on a low cal diet so to speak....LIPO has been controlling my appetite. So I've been avging about 2000 calories a day. A few more carbs than protein, but I'm still taking in over a 100 grams of protein a day.

A simple thing to say here is that low calorie diets dont work. A little below your maintainance level is definitely above 2000 calories, especially at your weight.
Find out your calorice intake for cutting here

I haven't done it for you, but it should be in the high 3000s.

I don't mean to contradict
But I did a fat test. It showed me at 210 lbs of lean muscle mass. At 270
thats actually 23%
I'm thick, but I'm not trying to make anything up. It's kinda pointless, if you know what I mean.watch your diet and eat smaller, more frequent meals.
--
watch your carbs and fats before bed.
alot of people dont eat breakfast and a horrible lunch and the gorge at dinner.
do not do this!
with a combo of the right diet, training and cardio program you will relize your goals!!!

I've never lost any weight unless I radically cut my calories. I work out 3 times a week, and jump rope for 20 minutes before I work out. Above I said I was between 1700-2000 calories a day. It's more like 2200-2500
Protein is about 160's....I'm noticing 40 fats 35 carbs and 25 protein.
I need to upset that balance a little. This week is a little skewed because I had a bunch of jerky and I don't normally take in that much fat...but calories are around 2k...

I personally can't give too many tips on weight loss b/c I'm one of those skinny dudes.

My only criticism is that you say "hopefully will be shredded someday"
Thats no way to go about it. You gotta say, i wanna be this weight by the end of the week, this weight by the end of the month, this weight in 3 months, etc. You have to set specific goals as it doesnt allow you to fudge things at all. re-evaluate where you're at ever week or so and adjust things accordingly.
Anyway, good luck!Don't complain about the results you didn't get from the work you didn't do.

here you go, susko's fat loss blast (if your goal is purely weight loss, which it should, no offense):
drink atleast a gallon of water every day. maybe even as much as 2.
eat only: fat free milk, tuna, grilled chicken, lots of fruits and vegetables, whole wheat. nothing processed, boxed (except golean cereal), frozen, fried, no soda, juice, etc etc etc
take your lipo 6
take animal pak vitamins
Don't forget: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/forumdisplay.php?f=16
RUN every day, as much as you can. if you are going to lift, lift HIGH REP, low weight. again, low weight, tons of reps.
but the time you are spending lifting, you could be running. trust me.... water and running. it does wonders for weight loss. good luck manLast edited by susko; 04-24-2007 at 10:50 PM.
Squat, Deadlift, Press, Eat, Sleep. Repeat.

You should read EVERY article on here regarding proper nutrition and exercise. There are some great articles that will help you a ton.
Your diet needs some serious work. You aren't getting enough calories, which will cause your metabolism to slow down because your body thinks it's starving. You should also be taking in more protein, and less carbs. Read Layne's Cut Diet http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/layne36.htm, it will help you a ton.
You should also be working out more often. At your weight and bodyfat percentage, you aren't going to see the results you want by working out just three days a week. Again, read the articles on this board, as there are some great ones out there.
Lift heavy compounds, do cardio after you exercise or first thing in the morning, make sure your diet is 100% PERFECT, and work hard! Good luck.

God I love Cheesecake. I had to make one for someone recently and didn't even feel the slightest tempted though.
OP: I'm not sure about those percentages... IMO I looked about the same when I put my pics up about a month ago and everyone here was guessing like 27%. I was serioulsy in denial about how bad I'd let the last bulk get out of control.Last edited by ewitte; 04-25-2007 at 08:13 AM.
