There are fast digesting and slow digesting carbs. Which one do you take before workout and which one do ya take after workout? Could ya give some examples of both fast and slow to please?
i think the slow before gives you more energy over a longer period of time and the fast after is to help replenish yourself. but it can kind go both ways. something like an apple half hour before you workout might give you more energy as well because of the kind of carbs, if your not taking anything else.
most slow digesting stuff has a lot of fiber in it too, like oats and whole wheat grain stuff. faster stuff is usually the less healthy version, like white bread..
