We've got a new chatroom setup on IRC and everyone is invited to join. There are two ways to connect right now. Through the web, you can use the Java client at:
http://pogue.to/bbchat/
Just enter a nickname and it will automatically bring you into the channel. If you want to use your own client, such as mIRC or Trillian for example, you can use those also. There is now a list of standalone IRC clients on the main page of the chat (linked above) or you can find a comparison of clients here. The network is Chat4all and you can connect to irc.chat4all.org and /join #bodybuilding.com to come in. If you have any trouble, post here and I'll see if I can help.
UPDATE: We now have a text based IRC chat client that can be accessed from almost any browser. It's called Mibbit and it uses AJAX. Try it and let me know how it works for you.

Connecting via mIRC
mIRC is the most popular client used by people in the bodybuilding.com chat room; it has features not included in the java or ajax clients. mIRC is for Windows only. You can download the most recent mirc version from: http://www.filehippo.com/download_mirc/
Here is how to set up mIRC to connect to the server. You will be connecting to the Chat4All network.
After you have followed these instructions you will need to type:
/join #bodybuilding.com
This will connect you to our channel. If you need more help, please visit the mIRC Getting Started Guide and the mIRC FAQ.
