I might aswell jump in. Christmas was depressing, simply seeing how much fatter I got over holidays, so now I'm fired up and motivated. I'm having an extremely difficult time getting up at 5:30am to do 45 mins of cardio. If it were a little more fun maybe? any suggestions? I'm riding my bike on a trainer with variable resistance.

On the pictures:
these pictures are horrible I know.. I have a web cam that i used to take them, but the quality is pretty bad.
Next time I visit my sister I will try to borrow her digital camera
I wanted to get a picture flexing, but it didnt really look any differant (because of the camera).
I also included a picture with my shirt on to show the contrast between me with my shirt off and with it on.
With clothes on I dont really look fat. That illusion is shattered though when they come off
Over time I have figured out how to dress myself to hide the fat one thing I look forward too is wearing stuff that used to make me look bad
Goals
During this 13 weeks I want to lose 20lbs of fat
I want to see my squat go from 275X5 to 315X5
Also, I joined the rowing club at school this year, so my 3rd goal relates to that: I want to pull a 2k erg time under 7mins
good luck guys

What kind of music do you play? I use to play guitar, loved it. Just didn't have time anymore. Stopped playing when I was 16 (7 years ago) I have picked it up here and there, but never serious like I was. I was a true Metallica head. Could play them all. I Loved all heavy metal, and hard rock

I hope to get in on this too! Does it start as of monday? I'm pretty sure for some of us jan.1st is gonna be a bit of an alcohol recovery day
Come monday though I am starting a strict diet.
Current stats:
6'1 215lbs age 26 probably 25-30%bf
Diet will be a 40/40/20 split unless I find it not to be working, if it doesn't appear to be yeilding the results I expect I will try a keto diet at 6 weeks.
I will be doing Cardio mon-wed-fri and weight training mon-fri with at minimum 8hrs between the two.
I will be consuming NO simple carbs except for my post workout shake.
I haven't quite got the meals planned yet but that is what tomorrow is for before I hit the grocery store.
I will try my best to get digi pics tomorrow.
I think motivating one another here will be very beneficial to keep each other on track and not to stray! Good luck guys!

holy crap my head hurts
There are 2 things that give me the worst hangovers: tequila and red wine
I was drinking both last night...
Anyway, Ive been playing guitar for about 10 years.
The first concert I ever went to was a Green Day concert when I was 12. That sparked it off.
I like to play funky/rock kind of stuff.
The Red Hot Chili Peppers are my favourite band if that helps.
Ive never been really serious about playing though, its always just been for fun.
