well, it looks great, solid. but I wouldn't buy just that one station, unless you have the $$ and the room for it. better to buy a multi rack, smith machine.

Nice bar......looks a lot like mine
Glad you decided to get it. The only one out there I've seen that I "might" like better is the Hampton one that has the kick stand to help put plates on it. Its really expensive though. For the price and the quality of the mega bar from Jesup's I can't see paying the extra jack. (Of course I got mine for $40, so its even more of a no brainer!). I just use a set of jackstands to load it up.
How'd you get a shirt? That's bs! I ordered 2 bars from them in April/May and I got no shirt.....hmm.▪█─────█▪ Equipment Crew #4 ▪█─────█▪

$40 bucks? Damn you bastard!
No really...great deal
Love the bar. Just haven't had a chance to really break it in what with work and trying to set up the home gym. I hope to get mats soon and get some equipment from a guy who unfortunately has been evicted from his unit (Co-Op) and can't take all his gym equipment.
I like the jackstands idea.
Shirt wasn't free. Great buy at $4.99 BUT $11 shipping. 75 lb. bar - free shipping. Reminds me when Fred Stanford would say "You big dummy"

Yeah I have the one without the raised handles ... I've mainly been using it for shrugs though. Probably is a better idea to have the raised handles for deadlifts but I guess I'll just get more work from being lower lol. I got a EZ Curl Bar from them too and they ship stuff fast I was very pleased with them.

Its gonna be too simple to contend against the "chinning palace" mine will be more a "chinning lookout tower" as part of the "chinning palace's" defenses against badly constructed chin bar designs.

My garage gym is nearing completion. The only things you can't see in the pic is a full set of bumpers and a pile of extra 10's, 5's, and 2.5's for when I get dumbell handles.

Congrats. That baby should be sleeping soundly by now though.....both of ours were sleeping through the night at 3 months...we just ignored their first attempts at crying until they fell asleep. Only time we got up was if we knew they were sick or if they persisted and progressively got worse as though something was really wrong (happened like 3-5 times total) this was normally something like the knuckleheads got their foot stuck in the crib slats.
Its hard to ignore their cries, but babies are resilient (that's what I've learned), we just try to give em a lot of love when they're awake!
Good stuff though, our lives were changed like I never expected when we had kids. I'm a firefighter/paramedic and I though I knew what 24/7 meant.....not at all so....I'm learning now though!!!!▪█─────█▪ Equipment Crew #4 ▪█─────█▪
