Thanks again for the great pics, greatly appreciated.
I called Powertec and they said "yes" it was changed since I got mine...Arrruughhh!
The early ones (WBPR10)had a Plexiglass shield,"up and "down" Leg pad and weight carrier in the rear, then redesigned with the weight carrier in the "front" the Leg pad that "swings" down and no shield (WBLTO13) mine) ,then yours, with a metal perforated shield added
It would be great if you could post the same comparison (front page) of your owners manual to see "other" subtle changes they may have made besides the shield
Thanks,

I can post it on Friday when I get home. I noticed you have a second set of j-hooks. Did you order those direct from Powertec? How much where they?

Dear Sir
You clearly have a well-thought out and planned marketing tactic in posting the same self-promoting answer to several threads within a span of 2 minutes. I can see how you will be successful from the overwhelming response this technique will surely generate. As such, we would like to inquire as to the availability of your services in the employment of the King of Nigeria, who is recently deposed. He has left large sums of money in the National Bank of Nigeria, which is not accessible to the native population. We are in the attempting of distributing said monies to people worldwide as a charitable donation, and are in need of help to getting the word out. Clearly an intelligent and resourceful individual such as yourself can help us.
Please send your name, address, date of birth, social security number, and bank account information (for verification purposes only!) so that we can check your references for the hire, for which you will be well-compensated.
Thank you,
Bob Smith

Nice old school looking stuff in there. I liked the old Universal style bench press stations. Love the TDS should press and lateral raise combo.
I like what you did for the EZ bar station with the squat stands. I'm guessing you do close grip benches on this. I've been looking for something to do these with and don't want to get a 6' EZ bar that goes in a rack. I prefer the shorter EZ Bar, I feel it's easier to control the weight on close grip presses."It is my own fault for replying in a smith thread." deadwoodgregg

Well, here's the place i call home.
My progression went from Bowflex homegym (i was young and dumb) --> Bowflex Selecttech weights + Bowflex 5.1 bench (wasn't terrible actually, if you don't drop the weights)--> Powertech Levergym (Craiglist find, pretty nice for the $) --> Rogue R3 + flat bench & Ironmaster db setup. I think I finally know what I'm doing after years of messing around.
And yes, you may notice I like Rogue stuff.
Quick rundown:
Rogue R3 power rack
Rogue matador
Rogue X-43M
Rogue Flat bench
Rogue Bar (silver/black)
Rogue 10KG bar
Ivanko OBS-20KG stainless olympic bar
Rogue competition color bumpers (45s, 25s)
Rogue HG bumpers (10s)
Pendlay rubber change plates (10s,7.5s, 5s, 2.5s, 1s)
Rogue dip belt
Rogue wooden rings with competition straps
Studbar pullup bar
Rogue Games Box 20/24/30
Dynamax Med Balls (8, 6)
Rogue AB-2 Abmat
Rogue Wrist Wraps
Ironmaster quick-lock adjustable dumbbells (5-75lbs.)
Homemade chalk board
Homemade wall-ball target
70lb Heavy Bag
7 tractor supply horse stall mats 4'x6' 3/4" thickLast edited by thejosef; 03-29-2013 at 07:25 PM.

Your whole setup is killer, but that Ivanko stainless bar is epic! Did you have to buy new, or did you mange to find one used? Either way, I'm jelious! (I'd be tempted to have one myself, but I don't think I could do so and remain married)

Thanks man. It's taken a while to get my gym where it is now. I can't say I've made a ton of killer deals on Craiglist, but I did unload all my unwanted equipment there pretty easily once I figured out what I really wanted/needed in my gym.
I actually bought the stainless Ivanko bar as a new, but "blemished" model direct from Ivanko in January. It has a slight spiraling pattern through some of the knurling, but it doesn't effect use at all, and as a bonus, I think it kinda looks cool. I got it for $500 shipped (still pretty painful). No way I could've got a new one for ~$900. Same here with the wife deal. She wasn't happy about the 500 but I told her it was "half" off and I couldn't let it pass. ha. I'll try to get some nice pics of the bar up this weekend and post them in the Ivanko thread.Equipment Crew #68, Ivanko Crew #47, Rogue Barbell Club #7, Mech6 Crew #30
