Didn't catch it. Anybody know of when they're going to replay it, if at all?

Tonight at 8pm (eastern) is the 2nd part. I liked it!!! I bit too jazzy at times for me, the lights and stuff were over the top but it was entertaining for sure!

Yea I saw it. I watched it just to see Tanji Johnson. She rocks!! She totally took down one of the women contenders on the first play of the first game, it was awesome.

I LOVED American Gladiators when I was a kid! I think they've done a really good job bringing it back--I've enjoyed what I've seen so far!
And I agree that it is super cool to see people we are familiar with. It's also nice to see more female athletic body types on TV.

One of the contestants is Shanay Norvelle. I saw her on a fitness segment on Headline News. I figured she would win...

Are you old enough to have watched the original Gladiators? Their current characters are far less cheesy than they used to be (anyone remember Malibu? He cracked me up, though! LOL). But I agree that my least favorite character is Wolf. Acting all badass and scary to create drama is one thing. I could really do without the howling, though. But what else do you expect his character to do but howl and have a bad attitude? At least he's having fun with it. He may end up being a favorite of the kids.
I love the way some of the contenders (particularly the males) seem to be trying out for next season by playing up aspects of their own personalities, too.
It's awesome how the treadmill part of the eliminator is taking just about everybody out (that blonde gymnast chick from Monday kicked it's ass, though). I hope they don't change it to where after two tries you get to run up the side, like they did in the original.

I am 30.
too much hype IMO...and that cheesy "another one bites the dust" music clip after some events???
I def prefer some of the old gladiators (men) to the new ones...I would prefer if they were all gimmiky...just my opinion...
but the show overall is good.

It's so bad that it's good. Even cheesier then the early 90s version.
