plus, assuming with your example the ingredients cost $9.20 for a product which ends up retailing for $25, there are other costs which one needs to factor in.
hint: i don't want to have to travel out of state just to have someone dump some powder in my lap."Ignorance is the most expensive commodity we pay for in this country."

If its going to cost u $9.20 to make something that cost $25 retail, thats actully not "getting over on the consumer."
Unless its 1/4 the price to do it ur self, or you got these formulas with 2 ingredients that are $5 to mix urself but retailing for $50 u are not being had.
Getting over on someone is NO2.

If a product costs US $10 to make, it probably costs over 25% cheaper(minumum) for the companies, plus they buy in large quantities, and we will never know the exact purity of their products, so when you are paying 4x or more for a supplemet, I dont really see how it works out for you.
Most of the stuff they put in is just to make sure we wont make it ourselves, like filler ingredients.

Take a guess...What exactly do you think is a "fair" profit?? If the raws are $7.00 what price "should" in your opinion a company sell the product to you for?
