After a long conversation with our vet a few years back on vet medication, he convinced me that his field was leap years ahead of human medication when it came to taking care of little Fluffys hip or Seattle Slew's daughter and her arthritis. Human medication and supplimentation was hampered with trials and Board review. Vetinary medication was dedicated to results. I first heard of Hyaluronic Acid from him. My Ortho Doc was ready for knee surgery number 4. I asked him for Synvisc (hyaluronic acid) shots in the knee instead. After my shots I have orally supplimented Jarrows Hyaluronic Acid Formula for now 4 years and several thousand squats later. A neat side effect from HA is smoother skin, youthfull elbow skin, and in some cases improved eye site. Later validated by my eye exam at the Glendale Eye Medical Center.
Hey, it's worth some thought...right? (please do not PM me about horses do not have knees...OK?)
