Depends whether your experienced in cutting/dieting smart and if your body is used to it.
During the off-season in wrestling i was 5'9.5 and about 165 and during the season i wrestle at 140.
No one could really tell you which weight class you should go. You should try losing/gaining weight and see where you feel the best at.

definitely go to 155. it shouldn't be hard at all to drop 7 pounds of fat thatll bring you to 160. then just dehydrate yourself a bit and bam 155 easy.
edit (this is assuming you have some time after the weigh ins to eat and drink to replenish yourself)

You look kinda pudgy in ur pic so you'd be too small for 155. You'd probably have to cut ~10 lbs fat, a few lbs of muscle, and about 10 lbs of water weight to make 145/ featherweight
edit:
ok 19%. you wont even have to cut muscle to get to fw. youre definately not big enough for lw. gl
btw if youre fighting as an am they usually match you up with someone your size anyways if its a debut fight. ie if you weigh 195 lbs, they'll try to get someone the same height/ weight as you even if its in the middle of a weight class, at least around here anyways

167@19% bf is roughly 32 lbs fat. Lose 15 lbs fat and probably 3 lbs muscle during the cut and you will be 149. In lean shape you should be in the 145lb class. At your height you would have a great advantage in that class. Try cutting to 10% bf and see where your body takes you.

under 5'11 = 155 or 170
5'11-6'2 = middle weight or light heavyweight
6'2+ = heavyweight
thats the general rule id say, of course there are exceptions

LOL. You know your body best but i was just doing some basic math. You also would not be 145 while you were fighting. A proper cut along with rehydration would have you in the 150's. Good luck.

yeah, cutting weight to 145 doesn't mean you're fighting at 145.

155 or if you care about your physique go to 170 and bulk up try and some muscle but then again at 19% bodyfat def. 155.
I was gonna cut to 170 but i'm only 10% bf at 195 but I care about my physique rather have some muscle on me then a couple inches of reach.

Im thinking that maybe ill clean bulk to a little over 170 then cut reach about 10% bodyfat at 170.I might try 155 but those guys are shorter then me and theyll have more muscle and ill be showing ribs dont know if its worth the reach.

My .2c you could fight at 170 and not weigh 170 if ya get what i mean. I think you could weigh less like 165-168, but your best bet would be to drop to 155. Cuz as they said above as long as you weigh in at 155 you coud fight at 161 or so.

Don't dehydrate to drop that weight. It can, and most probably will, affect your performance.

Yeah 155 would be waaay better. 167 @ 19%? That's a lot of body fat at 18 (?). You should be able to drop to 12 or even 10%, keep the muscle you have, and weight in arround 155. I went from 175-180 and probably 15-18% bodyfat to 160 and 9%. It was rough because I made rookie mistakes that led to me losing muscle (Dam it!), but I eventually evened it out. You also said you have a wrestlin background. All the wrestlers I know seem to be masters at the weight drop (lol).
Just give yourself enough time to get there, don't pull a Godzilla Gabe (lol) and you should be fine and fighting guys that are closer to your weight and strength range (remember: ya tryin to get an advantage by droppin down in weight).

Yeah i was great at dropping weight in highschool but ive been so damn lazy latley.I think at 155 i will have an advantage after weigh in ill just get that water back in me.My normal weight is about 160ish and i had slight rib defintion so im abit weary of 155 but i think if i put on more muscle it shouldnt be a big problem.
Ill feel like the anderson silva of the 155s lol

he would be a undersized 155... he would have to be a small 155 or a big 145... but from what he says his best bet would be 145.. trust me man
