    Baseball

Does anybody know of anything to help me for baseball? I gotta start getting ready for it again. I know I need to do a lot with wrists, hamstrings, etc. But is there anything else that I could do? I have a cement bat to help for bat speed, but it's starting to get cold here and I prolly won't be able to use it much in the winter. Any tips at all would be appreciated. Thanx.

For baseball, there are several things specifically you may want to consider. you want to work on maximum strength, throwing power, and acceleration power. I will make a thread in the next few days about how to develop maximum strength.

For throwing power, you basically want to move equipment such as weights as quickly as possible increasing your acceleration as you go. You want to do 1 rep at a time while working as hard to concentrate on them as possible. Do stuff like drop push-ups and incline bench as well as stuff with medicine balls such as various forms of throws.

For acceleration power, there are several things you should do which would be stuff like pushups or plyometric jumps followed by a 25 yard run accelerating as fast as you can.

I will hightlight more techniques for power and maximum strength in the near future in this forum.

    Hope that I helped.
If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.
    Thanks much.
    Cheers,
    Ben
