I've resumed working out after about 4 years off in the last month or so. I have been doing squats each leg day and have built up to 205 ATG, then I try 225 but get nervous and just go to parallel.
In addition to reg squats yesterday I added some hack squats and went to about 325 (it's a hammer strength "V-Squat" machine).
My question is: Is this just another supplemental exercize for legs (and if so - is it worth doing?) - or will this help build additional regular sqaut strength as well?
Thanks!

Will Hack Squats help me build up to heavier Reg Squats?

For me I use the Hack to hit my hammies put feet wide and toes off the plate form. Works the hell out of the glutes.
I do both.
