standard bar/weight on olympic bench?

i got about 300+ in standard weights and all the bars but the bench's i find that i like and that have safety spotters ( workout alone ) are olympic. does it really make a difference?

I don't see why that would matter at all. A good 6ft standard bar should be fine on a olympic bench.

Really? I had to sue a 7ft bar on my olympic squat rack. Im guessing its because its a squat rack though?

Probably, a squat rack is much wider since you're supposed to fit your whole body "between" it, while a the bench probably is more narrow.

OP: Just measure it and see if it fits.
