Wow. **jaw hits floor** You look hot!! Congratulations on your progress so far - that is amazing! Your trainer also looks great - her legs are to die for! You are very lucky to be working with her!
I can't wait to watch your progress - it is certainly going to be one to keep an eye on!
If you don't mind sharing - what does your training and diet look like? Do you have any particular stratergy between now and your comp?
Good luck with it all - and welcome to BB.com - I really hope you stick around!

Hi Emma,
Thank you so much, you made my morning with your nice words!
Yes, you are right about Lisa...She is HOT HOT HOT! Her body is to-die-for.
(and shes REALLY sweet!) Im serious, if anyone has thought about competing for just wanting to re-shape your body, her prices are extremely reasonable and you get results..(you can see from my pictures!)
Anyhooo...
Here is the rough break down of my diet.. I'm cycling carbs, (low day, med day, high day) but you can get the jist of it. I'm sorry in advance for not wanting to give out exact measurements. I wouldnt be fair to Lisa
Thank you all for understanding!
M1- Egg Whites, Oatmeal, flaxseed
M2- Chicken, rice, veggies
M3- Chicken, yam, veggies
M4-Chicken, rice
M5-Lean Meat, Salad *varies, some days I have a small amount of carbs
M6-lean meat, veggies
Work outs...I'll upload it for you!

Happy Saturday Gals,
Nice cardio day for me...30 minutes on the eliptical.
I really need to get some head phones!
I'm off to a good friends place for a BBQ. (plain chicken for this girl, but the company is what matters. Not the food!)
Sincerely,
Phaty Machado

Gosh - I understand COMPLETELY (more than you realise! )... I would never want you to post them exactly - what your nutritionist/trainer does involves A LOT of work and it should stay a 'secret formula' between her and her clients!
Hope you had a great weekend so far!

Happy Monday!
Hello everyone,
Thanks for the comments! Wow, I mean I am really overwhelmed. I didnt expect so much feedback.
Thank you.
I've been looking into all of your journals as well, so that I can encourage and be supportive right back.
Today is going to be a busy day. Im a business owner, and I've got to finish a presentation for a huge defense company. Cross your fingers friends, I'd really love to get the contract!
I forgot to post my work-out yesterday, just 30 minutes of cardio on the eliptical trainer.
I'll be back later.
Sincerely,
Phaty Machado

Carb cycling is tough, the key is to not be consecutively on "low" days!
It can really beat you down.

Hi!
Hello there!!
I just wanted to say that you look incredible!!! Congratulations on your hard work. I am excited to see your progress in your preparation for your first figure show.
I checked out the web site of your trainer too. She looks great!!! I would love to work with her. I just made an attempt to do my first figure show that was this last weekend in Culver City (Excalibur). I had a trainer from California too but I failed on the program that I was doing. I had to quit three weeks out I going to be doing my own contest prep this time, but I may consider contacting your trainer.
I am moving to California in a few months too. I am so excited for that. Have you always lived there?
So have you decided which show you are doing?
Good luck & Welcome.....And have a great day too.

Hi Lisa,
I'm sorry to hear about your show. I know first hand how frustrating/heart breaking it can be to go through the all of the training and then have to quit.
I've actually been there twice. I just felt like I was absolutely starving. I know its supposed to be tough, but I really felt gaunt and shaky all of the time.
The good thing (and I hope you have found your "good thing") that came out of it...
1. I know to trust my body and my natural instinct
2. It made me seek another nutritonist
3. Found Lisa Bickels
What a blessing. Maybe you'd like to shoot for the March/April Shows with me .
Lisa B. is a wonderful gal, she understands and what I love most about her is that you get the one-on-one, that a person trying to compete needs. She goes above and beyond.
I wish you the best, again I'm sorry about your show. What's your "good thing"? I'd love to hear it!
I'm routing for you,
Phaty

Hey Phaty!
I was just reading through your new journal and I am very interested in seeing your progress with Lisa Bickels. I am currently a Marine so when I checked out her website I was enthused to see another GOOD female Marine. Your progress has been great so far. When do you plan to do your show? Congrats on the life change thus far. I'll keep popping in and checking on your progress. Good luck =) Angela

Congrats on the progress thus far Phaty. Keep up the good work. Thanks for the workout info you sent my wife a few weeks back, she really appreciates it. She is going to start a journal on bb.com very soon (she wants to get some pics together first).

Hello Phaty - welcome to journaling (sorry I am late) you have made such great progress - the shot from your rear I think is the best progress.
I have a question about your last workout
- Dumbell Reverse Flys 30x15, 30x15, 30x15
is this 30# each hand OR 15s in each hand total of 30#.
I can not imagine doing 30# reverse flies - if that is what you are doing WOW! I feel like my arms are going to break off when I do 30# dumbbells on incline curls (30# each hand) for only 5 times. My reverse flies are still only at 10 pounds (moving up to 15 this week hopefully).
Anyway you look great - welcome and have a wonderful Tuesday.

It was just the milk..umm ewww..
I'm feeling much better today. Today I will get my shoulders and abs in, plus my cardio. Strangly enough, it works out well because Wednesday is usually my "off" day from weights.
Enjoy your day everyone.
Sincerely,
Phaty Machado
