since people are posting pics I thought I'd post mine. I'd like to think of myself as a 'powerbuilder'. I have followed a BB routine for years but have always tried to lift heavy. Weighin' about 240lbs atm, totally clean and unnatural, not even supps - just good old food. Never diet - just lift and eat a lot.
thinking about juicing next year though - because I can like only bench 315 X 3 and I think I should be doing a lot better than that. All these dudes doing 405 x 10 or whatever.....man... I don't know how you do it!

I may not be the best judge of if Spaz can shoulder press the 130's, but i'll be in the gym to see him try it. I will say however, that I was the one that spotted a month ago when he benched 435x6. If I were putting money down on him getting 130, I wouldn't think twice about throwing a huge chunk of change saying he would get them.

This thread gets funnier every day
I notice now that we have confirmation from Kello who is a big contributor to this board.
Signed up today and that was his first post.
Gimme a minute and I'll come up with a collaborator to swear I can crush golf balls with my sphyncter.
Not saying he's not legit but it just don't look too good. Best way to get recognition is just to post a vid. Simple.
And btw theres really no way to guess how much a guy can lift by how he looks. I've seen guys who were gigantic struggle with light weights and seemingly slim guys put up huge poundages. You never know.

That's great. I told Spaz yesterday when I saw him that it would only be matter of time that I was called out for not having a whopping post total like coyote. That's alright though, just as he's got nothing to prove, I have nothing to gain by lying for him. And if the bst thing you got to discount me is my post total, then that speaks for itself.

I haven't competed in strongman yet. The local meet (Quarryville, PA) only has two weight classes, under 198 and over 198. Well I'm 225, so that screws me over. Too heavy for the light weights and not enough gerth for the heavys. So maybe if I get to 240 or 250 I will give that a go. The tire flip looks real fun.

Well tonight was Thursday night and it was the night I wanted to try the 130's. Didn't happen and I can admit that. I didn't even give them a try. I used the 110's after I did my smith machine shoulder presses and I got the first set for 8, the second for 6, the third for 6 and the fourth set for 5. I honestly had a hard time getting the 110's into position. Once they were up, they were pretty easy to press. Both Kell "kello" and Big Mike "m_ohler64" were there asking me to give the 130's a try. I wanted to, but honestly without someone giving them to me at shoulder level, there is no way I can get them into position. Who knows, maybe the problem is my height. But either way...
So there you have it, a man can admit when he's wrong. (but deep down we all know if the spazman really wanted to do them he could )

Because no offence Spaz, your overhead strength is really weak compared to your bench. Not being able to kick the 130's back and rep it, but can bench 435x6 is crazy weird to me.
I built myself up to using the 100's on db milts for 6 reps. Can i sit on that and get to a 405 bench? Or should i keep building this movement up to assist me? (My bench is around 350 atm).
