17 and you benched 425? Hard to believe, but hey what would the world be like if everybody believed everything.

u benched 425 I believe it when I see it but if you did then you should powerlift if you weigh 225 or under because my friend holds the teenage powerlifting bench record of 415 in competitions. If you can do 425 then compete

Not too hard to believe, we had a 145 pound 17 year old senior bench 345 when I was in high school. If this kid is close to 3 bills 425 might not be much of a stretch.

He is a noseguard. Their job is to pretty much eat and lift.

Middleweight
we had a senior offensive lineman last year that weighed 265 and i watched him put up 375, so 425 isnt that farfetched, but i still wanna see it.

There was a few kids at my school benching close to 400. One of them was my former friend from my elementary school days. He was hellof small like me back in the day, but he yoked up majorly. That bastard was going out with the girl that I liked all throughout junior high, too. =(
I don't really care.. I'm a proud loser. I could stab him any day.

ay my high school our running back was seventeen and put up 405 bench weighing 240 so i think that this guy could easily be telling the truth

Miscing from work 8-5

It could happen pretty easy. As a senior I was also 17 and did 390 at 270. I was on husker power getting ready for college ball when I did that. I also agree that things on this board are hard to beleive. My lift is true and was all natural---this coming from a 26 year old guy. So I could see the kid doing that, I think I could have done 425 if I had pushed it harder but at that age I thought I was the strongest person alive being able to lift 390.

Team AKA
Boy, do I feel like sh*t right now lol. Anyone with me or am I just sad? An 18 y.o. friend of mine weighs 140 with his clothes and shoes on, is putting up 250. But I console myself in that he doesn't work anything but his upper body, and can't do my run for over 10 minutes...

i'm not that impressed if he had a shirt on but if it was raw great job

Yeah I did not even think of that. I was taught to lift by a football coach. So no shirts allowed and my grip is very close. I would think that since his screen name is noseguard that it would be the same. When you training for football you have to keep your grip narrow. Inside hands always win. Or at least on the line they do.

I believe it. Or I'm hoping he did it. I got a friend who's a senior and 18, he weighs 210, and he's the major runningback for Luxemburg Casco. He holds the school record at 375 for bench and 475 for squat. He's already benching 450 nowadays and is gonna beat his own record this year, ending his time at LC.

Our former running back put up 365 and has the record, but he tore his ACL for his second time and he is out for good.
I myself am a nosegaurd. It is an amazing posistion. I am just a sophomore, though. I finally broke 200 1rm over the summer, maybe I will be able to break 300 by my senor year.

We had a sophomore my freshman year...he maxed out the leg press machine at 1400 lbs. He is the running back.

He Does Go Evangel Christian Academy So It Is Possible, I Might Belive It Because I Have About 20 Friends That Go There And 3 Of Them Bench 350+. One Holds The Strongest Bench In Competition For 400 At 225 And Another Bench's 420 But He Weighs About 250 His Little Brother Though Is A Freshman And Hes Bench Well Over 300 Last Time I Heard He Was At 350 At Only 15 Years Old

how come i hear different numbers for the best teen bench press everytime. i came across a magazine about this kid who lifts (non-weightlifting mag) and it was talking about how he held the national bench record. he weighed 174 i believe and benched 430 raw. i know theres different federations and all but i always hear a different name and weight.
-
Oh Hello
Dang thats a lot of weight. Nice job! I still have the bench record at my school at 315lb when i weighed 188lbs. I thought that was a lot. Well, that record is for athletes at my school, so im sure there are some fellas that could beat that number but it wasnt recorded. I wonder if roids play a big part in today's HS kids....
