Here are some of the ancient paintings from Uluru.
makes you wonder... were the first humans really created by some advanced race? maybe these alien beings are watching over us.. like a mother watches over his child. They may be interested in our progress and far we have evolved as human beings. Soon they may return, and fill in the blanks.
the whole autopsy video for this was a fake... : /
had a lot of people fooled though.
Haha, I remember when Fox showed that. I'm neutral on the subject, but if pressed, I'd say ET's do exist. I just feel there has to be some sort of "understanding" with the gov that it remain secret, because if they really wanted to make their presence widely known, there's nothing impeding them. If there is a deal, is it because of the belief of the instability of the masses? You know the saying that an individual is reasonable, but a group of people is not. Or is it something more sinister? Really intriguing if it is true. Been watching re-runs of Unsolved Mysteries recently, that show ruled!

according to the disclosure proect it goes something like this...
aliens originally wanted to show their presence to humanity after roswell... however the gov made a agreement (treaty)...
aliens gave our gov the technology they needed and in exchange our gov. allowed them to monitor earth, abduct a few people here and there and test them... but never get too close for them to get any real evidence.
Maybe it's true however there's no realtime evidence to totally proove it
there's tons of evidence that's unexplainable.. such as the NASA space video of the object heading towards earth and then shooting back out. It's somewhere in this thread.

Unexplainable phenomena is not evidence for anything. Like religion, believing in aliens is purely a matter of faith.

Believing in aliens is quite logical... remember that we are but a spec in a HUGE galaxy.. and there are probably thousands and thousands of galaxies out there (if not more)... with possibly different adaptation methods (other species may not need oxygen to survive!). So to think we are the only planet with life is as laughable. Faith has nothing to do with this.
this to me is evidence of some kind of otherworldly spacecraft.

Unless you have evidence for it, it's faith.
Just like with religious people, you pretend that lack of evidence against your belief is evidence for your belief, and then you point to the unknown as a means of lending more pseudo-evidence.
And it takes common sense to realize that the probability of them visiting us from other planets is incredibly small.
not really. there may be tens and thousands of other civilizations out there, some even near our own solar system (even possibly in our own!)..I believe that the possibility is in fact very high. Considering the fact that their technology is obviously way more advanced then our own, it's a very high probability that they have passed the speed of light.
found this on another site.. thought you would all find it interesting.
UFOs Across The Timeline! Evidence Of Alien Presence?
Or Is It Pure Imagination and Myth?
It?s not really post 1950s that UFO have been ubiquitous. They have even been shown in antique oil paintings, sculpture, and cave drawings, apart from government postage stamps, official space videos and the media. A couple of days ago, I even saw a live special program on TV on strange lights (Like the Phoenix lights) hovering over the beaches of Mumbai, India. I?m trying to get the footage, so I can post it here for discussion, as undoubtedly, ATS is the best place to do it!
That said, take a look at some examples of these UFO that have been shown since antiquity. Isn?t this proof enough that the UFO phenomenon is real? Not just UFOs of earthly origin presumably made by black projects, but more importantly, UFOs of Alien origin!
So, is the UFO phenomenon a myth or is there an element of truth in it? Considering this huge, huge universe, it stands to reason that ETs are out there. If so, some very advanced cultures, probably millions of years ahead of us in technology, could have been visiting us from the dawn of civilization. Evidence?
The Evidence:
The Bible: Ezekiel
A supposed ancient record of extraterrestrial contact, is to be found in chapter I of Ezekiel, in which that prophet, in exile near Babylon, recounts a vision (Ezek. 1:4?28). Blumrich, a NASA rocket engineer, interpreted Ezekiel?s description as a UFO. Below is a diagram of the ?spacecraft?. (Blumrich worked on the Saturn 5 rocket, the Lunar Lander and on Skylab.) However, as per the magazine, eSkeptic, what was described by Ezekiel were ?angels?! But could angels mean aliens in those days??

Cave Paintings
This cave painting is c.10,000 BC and is from Val Camonica, Italy.
It appears to depict two beings in protective suits holding strange
implements.

The Mayan Palenque "Spaceman" carving, still a puzzle for researchers. The intricate
artwork depicts what appears to be someone at the controls of a machine (UFO?).
This Color drawing is to clarify the intricate carvings.

Coins
French coin minted in 1680 that shows a hovering
disc shaped UFO with what appears to be port holes.

Paintings (15th century artwork)
Painting of the Madonna and Saint Giovannino,
in the Palazzo Vecchio in Florence. The upper right
section of the painting shows an object in the sky,
and below, a man and dog looking at the object.

I have always been interested in ancient petroglyphs in New Mexico,Colorado, and Utah and have seen some "rock art" that will get you wondering. Some resemble alien beings.Who knows?(no peyote)

That is plausible, but the gov must have done one hell of a sell job to convince the ET's to accept. Their technology is so great, they could easily just laugh and say "whatever, we'll do what we please."

i've seen a ufo once before... so i'm a believer; i don't need any further proof for myself.
and it just takes a little bit of common sense to realize that we can't be the only ones in the universe.
I saw a UFO, and my explanation is that it was a highly advanced race of beavers scouting the forests of the earth in an aircraft powered by dairy products in order to find the perfect dam that would allow them to sing, dance, and tell stories to their young while watching episodes of "Frasier" on TV in isolation from the human race as well as their enemies: the evil advanced race of South American arrowhead frogs.
Both of us have equal amounts of evidence to support our beliefs.

ohh so you know right? I have a question: Since you know that the probability is so high, what is it? What is the number you have reached out of years and years of research and calculations?
We are waiting.
If there is anything out there, it is equally probable that they are less intelligent thaan us and are mere bacteria.

the probability is 99.99%... no research required.. jus good ol' common sense.
If, hypothetically, A) a race of extra-intelligent extraterrestrials happened to reside in the nearby Alpha Centauri star system, B) they happened to broadcast a 5 Megawatt UHF television signal, and C) we were fortunate enough to be pointing the mighty Arecibo telescope directly towards the source when it arrived four years later, we would still be unable to enjoy the zany capers of the Alpha Centauri equivalent of Mork & Mindy. In order to detect such a signal from this relatively proximate star, a dish with a diameter of 33,000 kilometers would be required. Even using Very Long Baseline Interferometry to link two Arecibo-style radio telescopes on opposite sides of the planet– thereby providing a virtual radio telescope the size of the entire Earth– our antenna area would still be 20,244 kilometers too small.
By coupling the laws of probability with our best current observations, we can be reasonably confident that some fraction of the 70,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 star systems in the visible universe are home to radio-sending species. It may indeed be that our planet is subjected to an unending spray of alien TV and radio signals, though they'd be attenuated beyond our best hardware's receiving extremes. Unless we dramatically improve our interstellar listening skills, or some alien race makes a specific and vigorous attempt to send us a message, there is little chance that we Earthlings will be trading messages with our astronomical neighbors anytime soon.
If you then change it to the likelihood of aliens visiting earth and leaving a lasting impact, the probabilities start to narrow rather a lot. But not impossible of course.
This was a good comment on that site:
Quote:
Drake's equation is interesting and, even with conservative estimates, seems to suggest the high probability of a universe teeming with intelligent life.
However, there are two big problems:
1) "Intelligence" is just an evolutionary adaptation that a species of primates developed in Northeast Africa about 100,000 years ago. Suggesting that intelligence is some inevitable destination for all life makes as much sense as saying that the universe has just GOT to be full of big gray animals with floppy ears and a trunk. makes you think - is consciousness an inevitable teleology or an accident? The vast probabilities might put this one to rest however
2) Let's pretend that the above problem doesn't exist. OK, if there are 1,000,000 planets with intelligent life on them, doesn't it stand to reason that one of them was first? They can't all have spontaneously developed intelligent life at the same instant. What if we're first? What if we're first to have any kind of life? The Rare Earth theory seems to be the only valid one, absent any other evidence.
