Does drinking lemon with warm water help clean the gallbladder and in losing fat?

I have heard that squeezing some lemon into your water can help with getting rid of fat and excess eight. Also I heard it is a good way to clean the gallbladder and detox your bodysystem?

If this is true is lemon the best thing to squeeze into water or is there anything more efficient?

don't know about 'detox' and all that, i have read that lemon/lime/vinegar pre-meals can help blunt insulin

i havent heard about much, but i actually HAVE heard of this!

a friend said he lost all kinds of weight doing this before bed, and first thing in morning

squeeze a fresh lemon into a warm glass of water ...

i often wondered if it was factual.

i guess it could be true because isnt it proven that lemon cuts fat? I have been marinating my chicken in lemon juice and garlic for just that reason, i hope its true! lol

well green tea has caffeine so that boost your metabolism, as for lemon and water, i dont know if acidic water really burns fat, maybe it increases ur calorie burn rate, but again ive never heard any evidence to prove or disprove it

Yeah I've heard this before about Lemons. Along with a ton of other stuff. There's a fast called "the Master Cleanse" and you just drink a lemon drink all day for 10 days to "detox" and cleanse out your system. Then there's "liver flushes" to cleanse your gallbladder and flush out stones.

Most people drink lemon water for the diuretic effect. It helps kill and prevent water retention.

Hmmm.... Googled for a while and found that lemon juice does help the liver function better. Also found cranberries and blueberries affect PPAR-Alpha like sesamin. I'm heading to bed and will see what I can dig up tomorrow. Yes, I'll be adding lemon to my water as well to see if I notice anything.

I'm not sure about the lemon water, but I've heard Apple Cider Vinegar helps in fat loss. Has anyone tried that?

Yeah, I also got this recipe for a drink that will burn through the fat.

Only downside is that, it only burns the fat on your stomach/love handles.
