I bought this rack from Dicks over Cyber Monday (25 percent off). So far it has been great. It is very solid and was pretty easy to put together. I've tried to buy additional J cups and haven't had any success. Dicks told me that they don't sell them separately. Has anybody bought any j cups for this rack? What options do I have?

I'm just basing this off my memory of what the ethos is 3x3 uprights with 1 inch holes through working area shifting to 5/8 outside that area just like the Rep Fitness pr5000 series. you might have some luck looking at their extra jcup options. I'd check the diameter of the pin to be sure it is 1 inch.

The rack I looked at was 3x3 with 3/4" pins. Theoretically any 3x3 with 5/8" pin would be close enough to work.
Would be tight, but you could try to shim it with,
3/4 OD x .065 wall x .620 ID
1020 DOM A513 Round Steel Tube
from metaldepot.com. I'd make sure the pin was actually 5/8" clean it down to bare metal. Throw the j cup in the freezer and the tube in the oven.SQ 475# 5/26/17 wraps

depending on what you use them for and how much weight you are moving I have a set of 6 inch long 5/8 diameterbolts that I use as barbell holders up above my pullup bar on my half rack. I sleeved it in some leftover 3/4 pvc pipe. I use a washer up against the head of the bolt to prevent the bar from rolling off(probably not needed but I store the bar above my head and am avoiding stupid) then the pvc sleeve that the bar rests on. Then it passes through the rack to a nut on the back side. It's not perfect bar protection and the pvc will eventually wear through from the knurl on my opb but it is very cheap and easy to replace or I could just turn the pipe a little bit and start over again.
I would suspect that you could do this for whatever hardware size your rack would support. and with a heatgun and some creative cuts/bends of pvc you could probably build half decent bar protection on the dirt cheap.Best Lifts
