All of my lifts are really good but my clean sucks, how can i get it up.

Ive been lifting for a long time but i just started doing cleans about 5 months ago. All of my lifts are real high but i can only clean about 175 tops. Olympic lifting is the one thing i have had no training in but ide like to get into it.

And good routine or advice for getting your clean up?
And all who look shall see them there,
And all should cry, Beware ! Beware !
His flashing eyes, his floating hair !
Weave a circle round him thrice,
And close your eyes with holy dread,
For he on honey-dew hath fed,
And drunk the milk of Paradise.

By "lifts" do you mean snatch, jerk, and front squat, or bench, curls, and triceptz extentions? By "clean" do you mean squat clean or power clean?

First of all make sure you are performing them correctly. There is a sticky to help with that. After that is is just like any other exercise. You can do 3x3 or 5x5 with the same weight, or just work up to a 1-5RM. You can also do 10 sets of 2-3 reps to focus on speed, using about 70%.

The most common problem is pulling with your arms. The speed work can help you teach to just use the power in your legs and back.

By the way, 1 out of 5 threads is about the power clean, so just look around for more tips.

yea i agree with raff u prob have some tech problems. Try doing some clean pulls to work on that explosion off the floor and throught the first phase of the pull. Then throw in some high pulls to work on the top half of the pull. your traps have a huge impact on your clean as well as many other things but since u mentioned all those other lifts u didnt mention anything about pulls and such incorporting your traps.
