    anyone take l-carnitine?

    I read once that taking half a gram a day for 6 months could increase your workout capacity by 24%
    so what do the experts have to say about this claim?
    and what about its effect on fat loss, from what i understand your body uses it to convert fat back into carbs or was that to glycogen anyway does that mean taking more of it in a cutting phase would improve results?

    lets asume you have an average amount in your diet and arent deprived ok

    I once saw an interesting study with chickens, they gained tons of mass and lost lots of BF. I jumped on the bandwagon and bought some with very little results, at the least I don't think it would be worthwhile unless cutting, I'm no expert though.

    i have been taking L-carnitine for a few mths and have lost weight. but I'm doing tons of cardio and weights and eating better to go along with the L-carnitine and protein act….
    i see u can buy L-carnitine and mix in a drink as u work out its good but is that better then pills????

    I usually run 2g a day. It's helped when I'm running a cut. Can't say tsr all alcar but it helps.

    I tale L carntine tartrate. I used to take it for many months at a time and now take it when im cuttting hard

    I use 1-2 grams -2 maybe 3x's daily
