Have a SWELL New Year (Nimbus needs testers for Swell)
http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/nim/swell.html
This should have been up a couple of weeks ago but due to an unexpected surgery I was out of commission for a bit. Now I am back and to celebrate my recent recovery Nimbus has been generous enough to sponsor a few logs on its premier product - SWELL. Swell combines the Poseidon Complex with some extra leucine, beta-alanine, and citrulline malate, and is the perfect intraworkout drink providing increased hydration, protein synthesis, and performance enhancement.

It is a well known fact that a solid foundation is essential to a strong structure. Well there is no question about the foundation of the newest Nimbus Nutrition product, Swell?. Once again Nimbus has taken a ?Simple yet Synergist? approach to supplement development. Building off their ground breaking, patent pending formula Poseidon Complex?, Nimbus has created another Staple Supplement for every athlete that believes ?Performance is Everything?. They are proud to introduce...Swell?.
Swell? is a combination of Poseidon Complex?, coupled with a very specific dose of Beta-Alanine and Citrulline Malate. The combination of these 3 distinct, USP grade compounds has revealed another extremely synergistic effect that Nimbus Nutrition is quickly becoming known for in the Sports Supplement and Nutrition Industry. Poseidon? has already been proven among athletes in the real world time and time again. Now, with the incredible fatigue reduction and improved physical working capacity associated with Beta-Alanine supplementation and the ability of Citrulline Malate to increase aerobic energy during exercise (not to mention an incredible pump), Swell? takes your intense athletic activity to a whole new level. On top of that Swell? also includes 3000mgs of L-Leucine to improve muscle recovery. Swell? is much more than a ?NO Booster?, it is a ?Potential Energy Releaser? for Optimum Performance Enhancement. Swell? is intended for only the serious athlete that expects as much from a supplement as they do from themselves.
Expect results from the company that knows ?Performance Is Everything"!

Not to be used with any other products that are NEW TO YOU. (IE, if you have experience with something in the past and want to run it with Poseidon, that is fine, I just want you to be able to be able to distinguish where your new sense of well being and energy levels are originating from.
Previous use of other performance hydration type of products ideal, but not necessary
Providing pics also not required, but definitely won't hurt your chances
You guys know the drill. Post up why you think you'd be a good tester:
Past/present/future goals.
Diet/training.
Past/Current Logs.
Recommendations for others.
Or anything else you'd like us to know. Basically, why should I pick you?
Please do not apply if you have other logging obligations to fulfill
Testers will be selected on probably in about a week. If chosen as a tester, the expectation is that you will keep an accurately detailed log of your experience and report back at this board and any other board you see fit. Post here in the thread and do not PM me unless you have specific questions about the product.

I have been interested in trying poseidon for a while after L300's endorsement of it however this product being similar catches my attention as well.
If chosen I would keep a detailed log.
Goals: Maintain weight and strength during busy work time (just got a new job).
Lifting 4-5 days a week.
Have done some past logs, I will dig them up now.
Diet: Not exceptional... As bad as this is I have been living on protein shakes and hospital cafe food while at the new job.
I feel this product will give me the energy, recovery, and mental lift I need during my demanding schedule.

I like this formula; good luck to all applicants!!!

Looks interesting. Only leucine, so that should stave off any catabolism? Seems like other companies want to throw in some hydrolyzed protein. But BCAA products seem to work well enoguh though. And with proper pre and post workout nutrition Leucine is probably sufficient intra-workout.
I didn't see any mention of this but what flavor is the product?
Yes, there is indeed a deeper component to it all.

Reason to choose me-I'm a hard trainer and honest. I know how to listen to my body, and know what results come from the training itself, and what is a result of nutritional supplementation. I could also provide before/after pics if requested.

Not flavored so you can add it to anything if you choose. You are right on the reasoning regarding the use of leucine because with proper pre/post workout nutrition a person really only needs leucine during their workout to promote protein synthesis and avoid catabolism. Now if you are not consuming enough protein pre/post workout Swell is probably not your best choice and a person may want to stick with BCAA's. but with proper nutrition BCAA's are not necessary.

I would but I am starting that monster log in about 10 days so no go. I don't do sponsored logs cuz I feel like if I give a bad review I would be frowned upon. I'd rather buy the stuff and log it so I can give an honest thumbs up or down without the pressure of making sure I take care of the reps so I can get into the next log ... Plus, it's really hard for someone to judge whether a product will work or not based on another's log since everyone responds differently. I am interested to see how it works though ... Sheit! I just ordered 2 tubs of Purpal Drank!

Intense Deadman
I'm a 39 y/o male, getting ready for my 2nd bodybuilding contest in August, and am currently in a mass building phase. I've been taking various supplements since 1986, everything from the old chewable Weider "Big" tabs to Muscle-tech's Nana-Vapor. I recently did a log for VPX's No-Shotgun tropical flavor, and am always on the lookout for better products. I currently train 5x per week, on an average of 45 min to 1 1/2 hours (Depends on waiting time for a bench or squat rack) Thanks.

Since every human body is different in many ways, I think its important to become educated and to gain experience on what makes your own body respond well. I have never restricted myself from any excercises and have tried them all, but I believe I have figured out my body well, and I know exactly what works for me. PLUS, I am now on break and my schedule is perrrfect for training well, eating well, and recovering (AKA sleeeping) well so that I will be able to log my progress accurately!

Post up why you think you'd be a good tester: i have been lifting for a while on and off so i do have the experience. i had such a hectic life in the past that training was put on the back burner for a bit. i have just recently been very motivated to eat healthier and go to the gym atleast 3 times a week. this product seems to fit in perfect with my goals.
Past/present/future goals: my goal is to cut for a bit atleast until summer.
Diet/training: my diet right now is mainly a velocity diet due to my work schedule. along with my shakes i try and eat tuna or chicken to get my protein intake. i drink about 1gal of water daily.
Mon- Legs
Wed- Chest/Tris/Abs
Fri-Shoulders/Bis/Forearms
Sun-Back
Cardio atleast 3 days a week. right now mine is pretty pathetic but HIIT for anywhere from 10-20min
Past/Current Logs: i am starting a CL Golden Finish log once i get it in about a week. it will go on for 20 or so days so if you want the testers to start before Feb. i wont be able to do it. i have one other review in my signature for a CL-PW and GM sample.
Previous supplements taken - Controlled Labs Purple Wraath, Controlled Labs Green Magnitude, ProLab Creatine, Syntrax SwoleN, Syntrax Matrix 5.0, X-Factor, E-bol, San Tight, ON Whey, Muscule Milk, Lean Green Tea Extract, various Multis, a couple others im sure but forgot.

Don't hate the player...
Very Interested
Past/present/future goals:
My goal in training has always been to improve my health, mind and body. I believe weight training and exercise are the building blocks of a sound mind, body and spirit.
Diet/training: My diet can sometimes get away from me. Being married and having to eat with someone else makes it hard to get all the fuel I need to keep my body in the shape I want it to be in. I firmly believe in proper supplementation to help me obtain the goals I set out for myself. I currently train 5 days a week. One muscle group per day, and cardio before my workout 4 out of the 5 days.
Past/Current Logs: I haven't done a log yet, however I have been reading through the logs posted on this forum. I think doing a log, and having a company personally ask you to try their product would be very positive motivation to push yourself to your limits, and give an honest answer to the question "What did this product do for me?"
I think you should pick me, because I have tried many different supplements to base comparisons too. Weight training is a very important part of my life, and I do not miss workouts, so I would be dedicated to providing you with real feedback on this product.
I just recently created my account, so if I am chosen to test this product, I will be excited to see my stats go through the roof, and update some missing information with new and exciting details for others to view.
