How long should/would it take to get from 12% to 8-9% bf?
I reduce my calories to 2000-2500
eat atleast 200-250 g protien
hitt 3 times a week for 20 min then jumprope for 3 min rest for 1 min x5
jog 7 miles in 70 min (2-3 times a week)
lift 5-6 times a week for 60-90 min
eat 4-6 times a day
I use NxCare RevXP (only half doseage, to much caffine makes me feel sick)
I'm off most supplement right now, I was taking them for a year so I want to cut back. Didn't want to become immune to them or rely on them too much cuase I know sometimes you body will stop producing testerone naturally
still need to drink more water, so far 3/4 a gallon
I'm 12% bf, and lately it been hard to lose anymore
the routine above I've recently started, only 2 weeks
I was eatting to many calories and only doing low intensity cardio
and was lifting for 2 hours.
my question is how long do you think it should to get down to 9% bf?
or how long does it take the average person.
I don't want to lose too fast or lose too much muscle. But i would like to lose the fat soon as posible.
any suggestions or tell me how long it took you to get to single digits once you got to 15%bf

Awhile…it took me the same amount of time to get from 23%-12% as it did to get from 12-8(about 3-4 months), the last bit of body fat is much more resilient. It took a lot to get into good enough shape to be at 12% and at that point it’s hard to crank anything else up, I’d make sure your diet is perfect(which at this point it is not) and I think your calories are way to low for the amount of energy your expending. I did about the same cardio and workout as you’re planning and I had to eat 3500 cals to prevent muscle loss. You may be in starvation mode at this point(or very close)…be careful, and good luck.--LQ

Try not to get too caught up in what is 'normal', I think it depends a lot on the person and you don't want to get frustrated if you can't keep up with what you think you should be able to.
I did my first cut and the fat just melted off, easy as pie. I think I was about 15% when I started, and as a guess maybe down to 11% - I really don't know, just a guess. I stopped though, because I realised I was too small to be cutting. I did it for 40 days. Now, I'm trying to bulk and I'm working my ass off, and I'm just crawling along. I've been bulking for almost 4 months now and I've only gained 20 pounds (and that's not 20 pounds of pure muscle, I'm getting pudgy).
It sounds like you've got a real solid plan though; I think you'll have good results.

Its harder to loose the last couple pounds then it is to loose a bunch of weight. Took me 3 months to loose 15 pounds and that was busting my ass 5 days a week in the gym.

I'm cutting for awhile, just to see what my muscles look like so I can improve my lagging parts. Then back to bulking to pick up another 10-15 lbs. I know I will lose a few lbs in muscle, but I want to be symmetrical. once I go back to bulking I also know I will put on some fat, but I"ve been bulking for about 15 months, and just want to see true results of what I accomplished. I'm looking kind of cut now, but there is still fat around the belly and other places.

I think at 147 you might have to lose some more calories then your currently taking in. I'm not sure but that could be the problem.

correction I was 148
went to the gym today, now I took off a week due to the holidays
I ate terrible, some fast foods, and only ate 3 times a day
but some how I lost 3lbs putting me at 145
I think maybe since this is the first week in along time I felt relaxed, maybe that had something to due with it
for the last 3 months I was under a huge amount of stress with my business and dealing with an ex. Maybe since my problems are starting to resolve and I feel better and a lot more relaxed it may have contributed to it
Thanks everyone, I will see how the next few week go
