tatoos

i was wondering if anyone had any imput on tatoos? i have a med. size one on my right mid back. it's very tastefull but it seems like i really don't see to many on bb. my first comp. is months off, is this somehthing that could distract the judges or hurt my chances at placing?

When I did my comp I covered them up. I have two. One on my upper shoulder blade...on my back and the other on my upper arm. Both butterflies. I just wanted them to look at my and not the tats. I used Dermablend....worked wonders. I had to get the darkest they had and you could not even tell I had tats.

Tattoos won't count against you. Maybe all the contest dye would cover them up as well.

I doubt it would hinder your chances of winning. So many people have tattoo(s) now. Mine's a hibiscus by my belly button. I consider it an asset. Just worry about your muscle definition -- the judges won't notice the tattoo except in a positive way.

Thanks! i have two monarch butterflies one yellow and one orange, i am very proud of them, they mean a lot to me. i don't know that i'll try to cover them up so much as maybe tone them down, thanks for all the input!

Just make sure to cover up any tattoos that say "All bodybuilding judges must die!"
