Activate Xtreme

Height: 5'7

Weight: Goes up and down, I have gone up to 144. I will weigh myself on sunday and every day I workout.

Goal: Add mass and strength

Diet: Thanks to the help of Fat Ryan on this board, I have completely redone my diet. I will be eating anywhere from 6 to 8 meals a day keeping my protein and carb intake high. My diet will consist mainly of eggs,lots of whole milk(glass with every meal),chicken,tilapia,pasta,lots of red potatoes for carbs.

Dosage: Haiz69 said I should have two in the morning, two in the evening which will be before my workout for 30 days.

Supplement History: Creatine,whey protein, ZMA

Routine: I lift weights on average 4 days a week but this week its 5. I will be revising my routine starting next week. I just recently started posting my workouts on bodyspace so feel free to check it out.

Training History: I have lifted weights off and on seriously since I have started college(3 years). I had to take time off due to shoulder surgery and because of school my last semester I had seriously cut back on working out(going one day a week). I have got back into lifting weights seriously and plan to keep with it. Feel free to make any suggestions far as diet/routine goes.

Activate Xtreme and I took 2 pills, I will take another two before bed.
Notes: My right shoulder is bothering me but hopefully it will be better tomm.
I will be doing legs tomm.

Notes/Diet: Took two pills this morning with breakfast. My appetite has always been high because of my metabolism but today it seems like I just can't stop eating. I woke up this morning and had three chicken tenders, 10oz of whole milk. I wasn't full so I went to the store to buy more groceries, I got home and had a big bowl of the absolute best cereal(Banana Nut/almond cereal) it is an excellent source for carbs. Another two hours later, I was hungry again so I cooked up red potatoes,tilapia fish for lunch with 8oz of whole milk. I also like to mention that I had a headache when I woke up this morning and stayed with me until drinking a lot of water. The headache has subsided. I will be working out at 5pm today so I will update it after I workout.

I just got back from omni and I am pissed. I forgot the gym closes at 6pm on sundays and I was late getting up there. I wanted to jump through the glass doors and do my workout. I will be doing legs for sure tomm. as soon as I get off work.
Dosage: I did take two caps 90min ago thinking I was going to be able to workout

Dosage: 2 pills first thing in the morning with breakfast
2 pills at 4:30pm before going to omni

I get up to omni and they were closed because of new years eve. It said no where yesterday they would be closed today so now I didn't get to workout once again. I am beginning to hate this gym and can't wait until my gym at south opens up. Omni will be closed on new years so I will be working out on wednesday.

Notes on activate: No headaches and no other sides, I will be looking forward to lifting weights on wednesday to see if its kicking in yet.

Notes: I felt great this workout, I have a new personal record for squats. I gave everything for my set of 235lb. After squats, I wanted to give my legs more of a workout so I did leg press. I kept doing more for my legs because I couldn't get tired. I worked out for 1hr30min and could have gone for more but I figured my testosterone was used up even though I didn't feel tired. I was a beast in the gym today. My two friends I worked out with quit on me after just the squats so I was left working out by myself. Activate must be kicking in because after four days off, I shouldn't have been able to do this leg workout without getting tired.

Sides: I did wake up this morning with a pimple on my bone below my eye which i never get zits there so i assume its the activate. Honestly though acne is a minor side. No headaches or any other sides, I keep my water and food intake high.

Weight: I forgot to weigh myself tonight =(

Today I focused mainly on quads with doing front squats/leg press then friday I will do stiff leg deadlifts along with leg curls. Trust me after as many sets that I do for stiff leg deadlifts my hamstrings/back will be sore.

would recommend freeweights rather than machine weights for chest. Need lots of balancing and control. Probably be able to see more growth in the chest region and increase in strength if done so.That's my opinion nevertheless, great review!

pushdowns, I love this exercise for my triceps because when you pull the rope apart you feel the burn in your triceps =)

I usually do flat bench with barbell then incline with dumbells/barbell then for the third exercise I do a machine exercise to burnout but I did 2 exercises with machines because my shoulder was killing me. I figured if I did machines it would isolate just the chest so it would not put more strain on my shoulder because after doing flat bench it was in pain. I none the less went back and did a strip set with the barbell because I wanted to do more freeweight. On a positive note my shoulder feels good this morning, lets just hope it doesn't start hurting when I goto work and move boxes.

There are plenty of great logs out there, but this one is awesome and straight forward w/o lots of extra verbage.

I do agree with you. Logs that require me wading through 4 pages to find a workout are hard to follow.

Dosage: 2 pills in the morning and 2 pills an hour before workout
Routine: I didn't feel I got a good enough of a chest workout due to my shoulder yesterday, so I did more exercises for my chest.

Flat Bench(dumbells): 50lb 1x8
60lb 1x5
80lb 1x2-PR
40lb 1x5

Chest Flys: 30lb 1x8
30lb 1x5
30lb 1x3
30lb 1x4

Shoulder Press(Dumbells) 30lb 1x8
40lb 1x5
50lb 1x3
60lb 1x5-PR

Shoulder shrugs(Dumbells) 60lb 1x10
70lb 1x10
80lb 1x8
90lb 1x4-PR

Ab Crunch Machine: 30lb 1x10
40lb 1x10
50lb 1x7
50lb 1x5

Abs-Hanging knee raise: 1x10
1x10
1x10
1x10

Oblique side bends(dumbells) 60lb 1x10
70lb 1x10
80lb 1x6
80lb 1x3

Notes: I had a very good sense of well being and was pumped before my workout. I know activate must be kicking in because I have never done 60lb dumbells for shoulder press since I have been working out or done 80lb dumbells for flat bench. Not to mention I worked out my chest just yesterday otherwise I would have been able to do even more reps. Also my traps was stronger as I was able to do 90lb dumbells!.

Sides: None to report, no more acne or headaches. Thanks for the comments haiz and uhockey.

Since there's a rep here just wondering it is advised for me to order 1 bottle or 2 bottles of AX for a first timer using it.

I've seen a couple of logs hearing 2 bottles are better as the results only kicked in on day 10-13~.

And also if i take a bottle for a month and took a break for 2-3weeks and started AX again, will i have to wait 1-2~weeks for it to kick in again for the 2nd bottle?

01-05-08 Day 8
Routine: After doing deadlifts my elbow starting having sharp pains, I asked one of the trainers at omni what caused it and how to make the pain go away. The guy told me its my joint and that I need fish oil. Clearly my muscles are getting stronger where as my joints are holding me back. I am going to find some fish oil tonight and rest good then tomm. if the pain is gone, I will the rest of my back workout.

Deadlifts: 135lb 1x8
185lb 1x5
225lb 1x3
245lb 1x1
265lb 1x1
295lb 1x1-PR!
185lb 1x7

Leg Curls: 50lb 1x8
60lb 1x5
70lb 1x5
80lb 1x3
90lb 1x4

Pullups: 1x4-couldn't do anymore because of my elbow =(

Notes: Another workout where I went into the gym feeling pumped. Activate for the majority doesn't kick in until the 2nd week from what I have read before buying the product but already I have set PR.

Sides: None to report

Weight: 137lb-I don't understand how I can eat constantly with my diet and keep making new PR but yet I can't seem to go up in weight.
