What are the advantages of olympic over standard? Also, are all olympic bars the same quality? I need to buy around a 7 feet bar for my power rack, and the price tends to vary among different suppliers.
Just to give an example of the difference of standard vs. olympic, look at this...

not all olympic bars are the same....there are different levels of strength, some are cheap and only promise to hold 300 pounds, some 500, 800, 1,000, 1,500....and I am sure there are some that are between those numbers.
Also the reason ya dont want a standard bar is because they will bend like a pretzel when ya get some real weight on themMod at universal-muscle.com
