Man is it just me or does being that "ripped" look freaking disgusting? I mean 6-7% is where id like to be, you're cut and looking good. All that vascularity and striation looks that comes with being like 3% looks down right BAD. I guess a lot of that could be roids too ?

[QUOTE=kilo669;528995483] Are you REALLY going to argue this? REALLY?
Do you have any idea the kind of compounds Munzer was on compared to Bruce Lee? Any idea how much more mass Munzer has on him? You're going to compare a fukin PRO BODYBUILDER to some movie actor who barely even lifted (compared to Munzer)(and yes, this is relevant - lifting = muscle mass - more muscle mass = looking more cut at a higher bodyfat. That's why a 200lber will look more cut at 12% than a 150lber at 10%)? Jesus Christ. Hell, every pro bodybuilder has been more ripped than Bruce Lee at some point in their career.

I have no idea why we're still arguing. Munzer is hands down the single most conditioned and lean person that ever walked the face of the earth. He died from complications linked to diuretic abuse... and he was criticized in bodybuilding circles for coming in too lean because it made him look flat. The level of conditioning that he had was sustainable for a few hours at best.. no average joe or Bruce Lee walked around with conditioning that beat the peaked, dehydrated conditioning of an obsessed pro bodybuilder.. In fact, no athlete would WANT to be as ripped as munzer because it would negatively impact their performance..

[QUOTE=RC2008;529057153] in all fairness, the thread was titled "most ripped man" not "biggest ripped man". and Bruce Lee DID lift. probably not as much as Munzer, but he did lift constantly. the amazing thing about Bruce Lee was NOT that he was ridiculously ripped; it was that he STAYED ripped. sure, every pro bodybuilder has been more ripped than Bruce Lee at some point in their career, but during the offseason, bodybuilders gain a good amount of fat back. Bruce Lee stayed at a constant bodyfat his whole life.

Guys, Guys, please, enough!
It wasn't diuretics or anabolic steroids that killed him, nor was it low bodyfat.
He died from blood loss as a result of a hemorrhage in his stomach that wouldn't cease to bleed. He refused a blood transplant. His internal organs (liver, kidneys) subsequently failed as a result of this. Steroids didn't cause the hemorrhage. In fact most steroids promote blood clotting.
One thing people overlook is ASPIRIN. Every year a small percent of aspirin users suffer from gastric bleeding episodes because of aspirin. Alot of people know that munzer was taking loads of aspirin at the time of death. Who knows for how long? Afterall he had stomach pain for months before his death.
Aspirin is also an anti-platelet agent. Platelets are ESSENTIAL for forming blood clots. That must have made his bleeding worse. This statement has not been evaluated by the FDA, nor is it intended to replace the advice of a trained physician or doctor.

[QUOTE=Gx7Pyro;529985373] Yes bruce STAYED ripped but his job was also to be quick on his feet. That means staying light. Bodybuilders have to have an offseason and eat alot to gain muscle. Bruce couldn't have gotten massive without sacrificing his ripped status. You have to eat alot to get as big as a probodybuilder.
Also, probodybuilders know that the larger you get at that level, the more the muscle definition and separation will be blurred. So the fact that munzer, ronnie, gaspari, dex, dorian etc crush bruce in conditioning is an amazing feat and extremely difficult to accomplish. Yes bruce hasdextremely low body fat and he lift suprisingly heavy weights. He also did other amazing physical feats.
Just for the record, Bruce didn't die of low bodyfat nor from anykind of substance abuse. He died of cerebral edema brought on by a hypersensitivity reaction to the muscle relaxant in a pain relief med called Equagesic (also contains aspirin). This statement has not been evaluated by the FDA, nor is it intended to replace the advice of a trained physician or doctor.
