Is it time to switch to a split routine?
So when I first started lifting, I was doing a back/bi's, chest/tris/shoulders, and legs/abs split. I was eating poorly and seeing no results. I then switched over to a full body workout I did three days a week. This worked great, I ate well and made tremendous gains my first two months, was putting on weight, was increasing my numbers big time. My gains then stopped abruptly. I continued doing full body workouts, but I had two different workouts and I alternated them. This helped me break through one or two of the plateaus I reached, but nothing amazing. Well now that it's worn off, I think I'd like to go back to a split. I like training body parts more then once a week, so I'm thinking of doing something like Back/Bi's 2x a week. Chest/Tris/Shoulders 2x a week. and then legs/abs 1-2x a week. Think I'll see some gains?
