i lift 6 days a week, but only one body part per day so each part gets a solid 6 day rest before it is really pounded again. it has worked so far. I'd cut down to 6, you need at least one, what i call "lazy" day to get rested up. But to be honest your body will tell you if it is being overtrained so just listen too it. 7 days is alot though.

For some people, that could be true, because by only liftin 3-5 days a week, and not everyday, allows your body to recover faster and recovery is what will make your gains bigger. When you lift weight, there are muscle fibers that break, and when you are recovering, they heal back together stronger than they origanlly were aka Adaption..so by allowing full recovery you are getting stronger, because if u dont let your body recover, those fibers will never heal and ull only be able to lift the same ammount of weight.

you dont grow in the gym, you grow in the kitchen.....well its more complicated than that....but basically working out breaks you down, and rest and eating builds you up bigger than before....so logically just think about it, you wanna find a good balance for YOUR body between breaking down and rebuilding, if you are gaining good working out every day....youd probably gain even better lifting 6 days a week with a one day break, at least, do the one muscle group per day thing.....like shoulders, arms, legs, chest, back, ab and core, break, repeat....or somthing

haha maybe not so lame just didnt know.
hey funny story opportunity though. i was lifting in the gym and they play the worst music ever. like terrible [yes i need an ipod]. well anyways after some blondie and other crappy lifting music like tiny dancer and stuff they played "paperback writer"
OMFG that is the funniest song to listen to. they sing the words paperback writer over and over, anyways i had to start laughing and couldnt lift through the duration of the song.___LIGHT WEIGHT BABY!, aint nothing but a peanut
