Too Much Fruit?
I am currently cutting and am getting close to that coveted six pack. I eat about 3 apples, an orange, and one or two bannanas daily...is this too much fruit or is it fine for cutting?

well if you've been doing what you've been doing, and it's working..stick to it until you plateau. If it aint broke, dont fix it.

Nope, it'll keep the pipes clean. It's not too much as long as you're still getting within your calories and macros and getting veggies in there as well. That is if you track cals and macs.... and if not... start.

apples are thermogenic so you def want to keep those
bannanas on the other hand are def a high gi carb and as far as droping fat goes if you are really digging down to get rid of certin things for that six pack you can drop them
it really depends on your diet as a whole though
if you have a bunch of **** in there that should be concern with that stuff over the fruit

Even though the GI of apples and bananas are a little high that doesnt mean that you should take them out of your diet. To tell the truth apples actually work like celery. You actually burn more calories eating them than want is packed in the fruit. I suggest not to take out your fruits.

Pink lady apples are the best! If you ever see them in the grocery, pick some up.

u belive the thermogenics of an apple work simliar to that of green tea where a chemical in it sends a message to neurons to tell them to contiune to burn fat
i dont know about how many apples you need a day
i am assuming its like green tea where you build on it as you go

What would be a negative aspect of potassium?
I personally don't eat any fruit except for PWO, where sugars are needed.

People are talking about bananas being high GI, this is only the case when ripe, newer bananas have a much lower GI. Oh and don't get too concerned about GI, Glyceamic Load is more accurate

The only time when this is a real issue is in extreme situations of water depletions (precontest) or when you are hooked up to a potassium drip instead of a saline drip by accident. You can only really be killed by bananas when you are a baby and you eat about 20. And you try feeding 20 bananas to a baby!
