Best running shoes?
So, gyms are starting to reopen again after Katrina and I need a good pair of running shoes.. I would like to spend no more than $80. I did have a pair of new balance for a while and i was impressed and i may get another pair. So, any suggestions/what do you guys wear? Thanks

What I check for
Make sure they have laces and that there are two (2) shoes, one for each foot.

I prefer the Nike Shox line:
Shox R4
Shox Turb OZ
Shox Monster
Shox Cog
Shox NZ
Shox TL2 or 3
Stay away from Shox Turbo. They aren't true to their size.
Those are pretty much the ones you want to look into. Try http://www.finishline.com because they usually have good prices on them.

Yea, you don't want to step on a nail or a piece of broken glass... Or worse - some junkie's syringe.

Alright Name Goes Here, how about the shoe called what ever fit's best? Yea I know, not as common anymore is it? But I will tell you this, pay attention to your arches, because not all shoes fit the same on ppl's feet as you would think they do. Go to a shoe store, like feet fleet, and get your feet checked out for free by a running shoe expert. By the way, I have asics, stability shoes, for free because I run with a group called CARA, in Chicago.
