Having trouble getting started PA/NJ area
I'm looking for a comp in March, April, May or June.
I'm just really looking to "do something" in my lifting. I have a decent deadlift for my body weight and just want to perform a deadlift. Right now I don't have a suit. Should I start training in a suit?
I'd rather compete in a comp that doesn't use suits if this is possible and a single lift comp if possible.
I'm just not sure what organizations to pick from and some are qualifiers. By the time April roles around i'll probably have a 540 raw max at 193lbs. Nothing great but I want to get started and think I can be competitive

imo if it's your first meet, no. just do the meet, get the feel of it, and then worry about your numbers the next time.

Geezer in Training
I'll be judging at that meet. Come on down and lift!
