BF% and Starting a Cycle
I am in the mist of planning out a cycle was I am making my head spin around w/ how much I should cut before starting up the BULK. What BF% do you guys usually get down to?

10-12% would be the best.
13% is pushing it.

Ideally 10-12% like semper said however I don't think that you will necessairly bloat significantly more just cause your bf is a little higher than that. I think 15% is ok.

I'd say the lower the better.. preferably 10.. I started my Bulk in October at about 7-8 and man am I ever happy with the results.. Very minimal fat gain, on a 6000+ calorie diet

x2 10%????? wtf? 10% is low man not many guys have 10% bf and if u have been lifting for years i assume ur mainly doing it for bulk and trying to reach ur max potential so i dont think too many guys have 10 or even 12. anything 15 and below that

higher than 15 and the "estrogenic" side effects can get worse?
Someone please correct me. I'm not sure of the mechanics on it. But, I'm sticking to this story.

DON'T **** up like I did and start a cycle at 16-17%!!!
It makes you ****ing depressed and un motivated.
You look at yourself in the mirror at the end of the cylce and you just look bloated, fat, and nasty-you can tell theres newly created muscle...but it looks soft--and puffy.
Now I gotta cut down to 10%.
Start at 10%--so you can see gains quicker and stay positive throughout it all.

Hell when I'm gonna do a cycle again I plan on starting at a MAX of 10%.
Pref. 8%! Why? So I can see my gains better and still look good while on cycle.

do a cycle at under 10%, and the bloat will actually be a pleasing sight.
my first cycle i was bloated but i was not complaining at all, i just looked like i had a pump everywhere all day long. i actually was sad when i lost some water, people were telling me how my muscles weren't sticking out as much...

As of now I am nearing 17-19 more than likely. This due to my "messing" around w/ my nutrition and training. But I must say I sure as hell put of some serious Lean Mass over the past year doing so. I am going to cup down to 12-13 and see how things are looking being the pinning begins.
As I asked before, how are you guys measuring your BF%? Thanks

above 19% in BF increases your risks of estrogen related sides. If nothing else, running a cycle when leaner, greatly reduces your chances of hurting yourself long term.
BF% measurements are best when done in a Hydrostatic Testing Facility or a Bod Pod, do a search for one near you, average test should run about $40 or less. Don't rely on the fake untrained personal trainer at the gym holding a pair of calipers trying to sell you 10 sessions of core crap. Calipers are unreliable and so are the scales you buy at the store using a BS electro-Bio-impedence method.
Find a testing center, get tested before, during, and after cycles. Its like adding full coverage to your car, the extra money you spend is insurance that your body will maximize better success rates.

honestly bro...IN MY OPINION (no flames yet hear me out  ) you could cycle up to 20% bf. I see it all the time. Testosterone will help you reduce bodyfat. This is fact. Estrogen is the main culprit for increased fat storage. This is where an ai comes into play. Gaining fat on cycle is mostly due to poor diet and insignicant cardio. I've seen guys hop on something as simple as 500 mg weekly test e @ 20% and crop it down to 15% while adding significant lbs to their lifts as well as lbm. Hopes this helps. Again do understand this may not be OPTIMAL but not farfetched by any means. Good luck bro. Happy juicing.

Everyone seems to agree on under 20% for the most part. Hear is what I believe I am going to aim for here, I am going to plan for a cycle starting point near Mid-March. This should give near ample time to cut down to roughly 15% and should be a good starting point me for. I just need to find a few places to test for BF%'s.
