Exercises for Deadlift

I have a pretty good deadlift routine, but only do that about once per week because it is bad to deadlift heavy weight on a regular basis. Anyone have any other exercises that aren't as hardcore, but still help?

...i didnt read your thread but ima guess u want sum excersises to work the lower back cuz u dont wanna do deads. just do sum hyper extentions or sum good mornings

yea, i figured I would incorporate some other low body exercises, in hopes that I can work my lower back more, wothout having to just do deadlift. Thanx for the help.
