    Question what is the difference between JM press and close-grip bench press?

    cg bench press is lowered to lower chest, and is a straigbht press up to lockout, while a JMPress is a mix between an extension and press and is lower to the neck region with elbows tucked as well.

    more wieght can be used in the close grip

    no really jm presses are very very good for tri strength its a half exstension press, you only go half way down unless your diong a california press

    when i cg i feel it on my wrists.. ive tried wraps still hurts... thus i dont go as heavy as i could... anyone have some suggestions... ive had multiple people look at what im doing they say its fine.. but its hurting my wrists when i do about 180lbs.

    I'm kind of the opposit
    close grip is fine but if my hands are really wide then I have troubles with wrist pain
    I'm not sure what to tell you tho
    maybe dumbell work to strengthen the wrist supporting muscles

    I wanna try some JM presses
    I think I will like them
