Not sure how that variation would help. I sometimes bring the weight in when it's getting heavy the last couple reps. Probably can't hurt you and if you try it and like it go for it I guess.

The actual video itself might generate some lulz (3d animation, misspellings, etc.), but you are exactly right on the fact that people are still catching up to what Gironda was teaching a lot of years ago, which IS no laughing matter.

I'm guessing that .it means it's an Italian site so English isn't the main language, but yeah that is kind of stupid.

Bodybuilding is filled with "gurus", but Vince was THE innovator of a lot things and a master trainer.

Those exercises are great if you adhere to control (which you should anyways.) It is just a coincidence that the curling looks like a chaotic composite lift but in reality its showing the stretch that can be achieved.

    My 2 cents.
2014 Misc Raw Bench Press Contest winner in the 276lb+ 555lb lift @ ~280lbs
2014 Obtained goal of 600+ raw bench press. Shoulder also hates me.
2015 Lost 110 lbs and currently enjoy being healthy. Retired heavy bench press.

Agree. I love Vince's material and follow some of them. You need to keep in mind that these things are old school. Our biomechanal knowledge is lot advanced.
Curl seems very taking for SI joint.

Personally, based on my exp with injuries - do the basic exercies wit right form and results will come.
