What MP3 player do you use when working out?
What MP3 player do you use when working out????
Before buying an MP3 player just wanted to see if anyone has any recommondations or reviews. Also looking at a CD/MP3 portable disc player vs. portable MP3 player only.
Thanks.

"keep the body Guessing"
RIO 600 or 800 model.
They both work awesome tried the cd/mp3 player even the best ones can skip. MP3 player no skip and very light and compact. You can get one for less than 50.00 on ebay. or around 130.00 at circuit city. you cna upgrade the memory and everything. good luck

I like my Rio, but i can't wear it when I lift, only cardio.
Invariably the headphone cords are too short and get in the way.
Get one with at least 64+ memory, good for about an hour.

I have a yepp yp-700. 128 mb is definitely the only way to go, especially if your workouts last a little over an hour or you like to do cardio also. This one set me back 220, OUCH, but it has not dissappointed me. There is another player out, in the shape of a pen, that you can strap on your arm, seems like it would be perfect for working out. I wanted to get that one, but they didn't have it at the store I was shopping at.

Thanks for the responses,
Another question or two:
I see allot of guys wearing the yepp yp-700, but I feel like I would soak the player and the armband as I sweat allot during my workout. Has anyone had this problem?
Also with the Rio's, can you clip it to your clothes or do you have to wear it in your pocket? The Rio's look good, but I don't know where I would put it when I was lifting. Any advice?
Thanks

As I said, I use mine for cardio, a LOT of guys that lift with them, wear them in a waist pack and put a little padding around them.
Having mine in my pocket shortens the cord too much for me to lift.
If you are gonna wear it the whole workout, running the cord inside the shirt helps, but I wear two shirts, a tank and a large evelast 3/4 shirt

You shouldn't have a problem as I sweat like a pig. I almost get asked everytime I work out why I look WINTERIZED ... I always wear sweats and a jacket. The only problem I have is that the earphones are dubs and they fall out easily with all my sweating. Surprisingly the earphone haven't blown from being wet all the time.
I use this UNIT and I absoultely love it... The best damn thing my girlfriend bought me!!
