I have an interview with Commerce Bank today. any advice
it's at 3pm. my printers fukked up so I'll go print my resume at 11am. any advice for today? I applied online and the guy called me Tuesday to come today for the interview, he said come dressed to impress because there will be other people there. I was thinking of wearing dress shirt, dress pants, dress shoes, and a leather jacket; fine? also they have a two week training program, do you think they pay you while training? how much do these bank jobs usually pay?
any advice for today so I don't make a fool of myself?
EDIT: don't have a lot of formal cloths so I have to make due with what I have

I don't own a suit either.... Anyway, go with dress shoes and belt that match color, dress pants, dress shirt, and a tie.... Good luck, I don't know how much you'll get paid, but I assume you'll get something during the 2 weeks training, not certain though.

I'd be a little too if I had to compete with others in a group interview, but just remember that after 3:00pm, you are going to have a new job and those other betas will have wasted their time coming.

If you don't even know the position you are applying for you will not be getting this job. Don't even bother showing up. I would never hire someone that didn't know the job they were interviewing for. Forget the suit and tie, find out what ****ing job you are applying for!
A teller doesn't need to wear a suit. A tie should be sufficient.
My previous employment was in banking/finance.

it's an entry level job for college students or high school graduates. it can't possibly be that serious.
EDIT: this was in the email
A member of our recruiting team will review your application. If your skills and qualifications match one of our current openings, you will receive a call so we can get better acquainted.

I just looked at how old you are so I will back off. In the future if a similar situation arises, ask what position(s) you will be interviewed for. If this is for college students, I'm sure some of the others thought to ask.

they gave me this whole speech how commerce is not just a bank but a "retail store" that supply people with bank services - this **** went on for 30 mins. then they explained how I have to go through a 10 day training process and they don't have any flexibility around that. If I go to the 10 day training I'll have to miss my college classes. They also have this homo little things like wearing red every Friday and getting along and having team hugs with you're team members and ****. that's retarded man
